Sunny Leone Signs Three-Film Bollywood Deal

NEW DELHI, India — Crossover Bollywood starlet Sunny Leone has signed a three-film deal with producer Parag Sanghvi of Alumbra Entertainment worth more than $1 million U.S. dollars, further establishing herself as a mainstream mainstay.

The former adult actress may be contractually barred from starring in any other films outside of the three with Alumbra, BollywoodLife and other sources reported.

According to BollywoodLife, that would explain why the actress is not accepting any of the many film deals she has received following her success in “Ragini MMS” and the upcoming title, “Shootout at Wadala,” slated to hit theatres on Friday.

However, Sanghvi negated the allegations.

“There’s no clause banning her from shooting for any other film until she doesn’t complete her films with us. She knows that if there are any such hurdles, we can mutually work around them,” Sanghvi said. “She is a professional and I am sure that she will not let the commitment to one film affect another one. It’s her call completely. We plan to finish off three films in two years.”

The first film of the three will be a thriller, Sanghvi said.

Leone was not available for comment at post time.
