Monique Alexander Garners Weekly XM Radio Gig

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Entertainment contract star Monique Alexander is going to become a mainstream radio mainstay. Alexander will appear regularly on the National Lampoon Radio Network’s “The Phil Show” starting on Oct. 8, which can be heard on XM Satellite Radio channel 154.

“The Phil Show,” hosted by radio comedy veteran Phil Iazzetta, features stand-up comedy, prank calls, song parodies, sports updates and celebrity interviews. The show runs from noon – 6 p.m. PST Monday through Friday.

Alexander’s role on the show is to handle Monday’s recap of the highlights of the past weekend’s football games.

“I love everything to do with football, particularly the cheerleaders and the tight ends,” Alexander said. “I’m excited about appearing on Phil's show because he believes that my enthusiasm for the players will more than make up for my lack of expertise.”

Alexander became a Vivid Girl in 2004 and has starred in many of the company’s blockbuster releases including “Debbie Does Dallas…Again,” “Call Girl Confidential and “Breakup Sex.” Alexander also has proven that she exhibits the requisite comedic timing and wit by hosting Vivid Comedy Parties at comedy clubs across the country.

“Hey, Monique has proved to the world that she's into all kinds of sports,” Iazzetta said. “We’ll start her radio career with football and I’ll bet she’ll score a couple of touchdowns, then we’ll see what she can do with basketball and baseball.”
