Making swifter progress than a handful of other states aiming for the same outcome, Illinois lawmakers have passed a ban on violent and sexually explicit games.
Gov. Rod Blagojevich proposed new laws before the Illinois legislature on Thursday that would outlaw the sale or rental of violent and sexually explicit video games to minors.
