A coalition of activists who advocate for the rights of sex workers will hold a virtual press conference Wednesday to ask California Governor Gavin Newsom to suspend the arrests and prosecutions of sex workers during the coronavirus pandemic.
On Tuesday, April 9, at 9:30 a.m. the California Senate Public Safety Committee will hear Senate Bill 233 Sponsored by Senator Scott Wiener and Assembly Member Bill Quirk, co-sponsored by Assembly Members Carrillo and Friedman.
