EuroRevenue Takes Hardcore to the Max

EuroRevenue, distro-masters of European extreme content online, recently launched HardcoreMax.com, making the currently incarcerated porn producer's arsenal of titles available to an eager European audience. The deal was inked in the midst of director Max Hardcore's criminal trial — he began a 46-month obscenity sentence in January — and EuroRevenue CEO Todd Glider said the company is devoted to expanding Hardcore's presence to a broader international audience.

EuroRevenue is no stranger to content as hardcore as Hardcore's. The company has worked with German extreme content brand John Thompson Productions — "The undisputed king of bukkake," Glider said — for years, and recently teamed with online content provider HotMovies.com to bring Thompson titles online.

"The European consumer tends to have a bigger passion for extreme porn than does his American counterpart," Glider said.

Glider said he and EuroRevenue founder Joe approached Hardcore with the idea in the summer of 2007, as his criminal trial was looming, and it took a bit of time for the director to make it official.

"I think he was fearful about choosing the right company because he's so protective of his content and his brand," Glider said. "Every producer is vigilant about protecting his content. It's their lifeblood after all, and when you're dealing with a Max Hardcore, someone with a strong brand image, the level of vigilance increases dramatically. Max supersedes porn. He is a pop cultural icon. He has a name to protect."

Hardcore was most warmed to the idea of trusting his vast library of content — known for its degradation, humiliation and proud nonmedical usage of speculums — with EuroRevenue because of the company's prominent presence both online and in Europe.

Glider said that Hardcore's DVD and image library will be the centerpiece of HardcoreMax.com, having launched with 100 titles and up to four full scenes within each. There is enough Hardcore content for regular updates for years to come, Glider said, and members also can take advantage of bonuses offered.

"Like every EuroRevenue site," Glider said, "we include a ton of additional content covering every conceivable niche, including 80-plus bonus sites, hundreds of free movie downloads, sex stories, fee webcam chat and more."

Affiliates will have access to a "monstrous library" of promotional tools, Glider said, including the usual banners and free-hosted movie and image galleries, but also can take advantage of RSS feeds, a daily updated keyword-rich blog, and embedded Flash videos — as well as mp4 clips for use in legal tube sites.

"If affiliates don't find what they're looking for, our designers will work with them to ensure their needs are met," Glider said. "We expect [HardcoreMax.com] to be huge with adult traffic, huge with affiliate managers, and among the biggest industry signings of calendar year 2009 where the entire adult industry is concerned."

Glider's confidence doesn't appear premature, as it's clear EuroRevenue did its homework when preparing the site's members area and tour. HardcoreMax.com is backed by the company's exclusive Members Area Management System, which was custom-built to offer numerous customization options, search functions, saved favorites and other tools that make the members area highly navigable and interactive, leading to higher signup and retention rates.

Video is available to users at DVD-quality in three download sizes and three streaming options so fans around the world can easily access content regardless of their connection speeds, and the geo-targeted site so far has been translated into Spanish, French, Dutch, German and Italian.

Glider said the team is especially proud of HardcoreMax.com's Web 2.0 tour.

"It offers surfers a mirror image of everything they will find inside the members area — because it is the members area," Glider said. "Surfers have the ability to explore the site like a member, to see all of the movies, images and extras available to them as members. HardcoreMax.com offers a genuine what-you-see-is-what-you-get tour, and we know surfers are going to like what they see — and get — a lot."
