Fresh Fun From Fun Factory

Fresh off the heels of the company’s successful debut of the Stronic Eins pulsator, Fun Factory has announced the upcoming release of eight new product models.

Fun Factory will offer a sneak peek at prototypes for the eight new models at this month’s International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas, at the company’s booth #610. According to the company, its new releases are slated to come out between May and August.

Fun Factory is having a prolific year as far as product development, the Stronic Eins, launched in January of 2013, is having a huge success as the only truly different adult toy to come out in decades.

Throughout the month of February, the Stronic Eins was the focus at New York’s Museum of Sex. The Shop of MoSEX was turned into a space dedicated to the Stronic Eins. The pulsator uses magnetic fields and the physical properties of metal to induce the strongest orgasms ever known, as attested by 87 percent who tried the Stronic Eins during a European experiment led by Fun Factory last winter, the company said.

The FunFactory.com website offers some details regarding the stand-out features of the new midsized vibes. According to the company, it has completely reworked its much loved and flexible DeluxeVIBES series with more luxury with a new ergonomic control unit in classy champagne tones.

The new range will boast fresh colors and a boost in style — “but there’s more,” FunFactory.com says.

“Thanks to the new control unit users can adjust the intensity of the fun even better. Aficionados know what that means — PRESS FUN TO PLAY.”

The new rechargeable minis feature a chic design with a more powerful motor and new interval programs for greater excitement at all vibration levels. Another new feature is the key lock, perfect for discrete carrying in a purse and on long trips.

“So in no time at all these little vibrators become a favorite companion for passionate moments,” the website states. “Plus, there are two new playmates among the DeluxeVIBES: Pearly and Flora. Emilie Rosanvallon, director of marketing at Fun Factory USA, says the new additions were requested by buyers who wanted smaller versions of its G4 designs.

“Pearly and Flora are our like G4s, but small to mid size,” Rosanvallon said. “The Flora india red for example, is a new version of the Tiger G4 red, a FUN bestseller. It has the same color, ribbed body, lightly curved shaft, and ‘uncircumcised,’ or tapered tip.”

The new charging interface ensures that the toy and charger will stay connected securely. “We changed both the charger (now USB) and the toy’s connection point,” she said.

Rosanvallon says that in addition to the two rechargeables, the company also is introducing a new line of battery-operated vibes that includes minis and mid-sized models.

“There is a market for battery, this is why we continue to make them,” Rosanvallon told XBIZ. “Carrying some battery in your selection is key for any retailer. All if our key partners, such as Good Vibes, have in their best sellers list the Meany and the Laya — both battery operated.”

According to Rosanvallon, the difference in price points is what primarily sways shoppers. Rechargeable silicone mini-vibes range between $90-109, while battery-operated toys range in between $50-70.

“For example, our Ocean Click n Charge is $89.99 and our Ocean battery is $59.99,” Rosanvallon said. “Many high-end brands have banished battery, but FUN will not do this. The Ocean and Flash are such good sellers in CnC we decided to also offer them in battery, and in more colors. We surveyed some consumers and found that their success lies in their shapes, not the fact that they are rechargeable.

“Another important thing to note about battery vibes is they are technically invincible. Unless the motor is defective, a toy typically dies because the rechargeable battery has reached the end of its life, as people know from using cell phones. When you use disposable batteries, your toys NEVER die unless the motor is cheap, but FUN has the most durable motors around, with a lifetime guarantee.”

Shipping date for any of the new products remains to be determined, with some items shipping mid-April while others will only be available starting this summer.
