Q&A: XBIZ Europas POY Amirah Adara Talks Career, Big Win

Amirah Adara loves to fuck, all the time, and it shows in her performances. This marvelous Hungarian minx, packaged in a petite body that is the very definition of spinner, has achieved major stardom ever since she turned 18 and started shooting hardcore porn.

Is it any surprise that the 26-year-old seductress has starred in over 300 titles, and made history this year at the first-ever XBIZ Europa Awards, where she was crowned Female Performer of the Year? No sir, no ma’am!

Basically, I discovered my whole sexuality in porn. Before I had turned 18 and joined the industry, I didn’t know a lot about what I liked or what I didn’t like sexually. Now, I’m more open than ever before.

And leading up to the grand event, Adara shared her down-to-earth career wisdom on panels at XBIZ Berlin, when she wasn’t charming the socks off attendees with her vivacious energy.

When she locks eyes with anyone fortunate enough to bask in her charisma, pure deviousness burns through her gaze, as if she is on the verge of climaxing mid-conversation.

Irresistible and fiery, Adara has that bounce in her step that is positively adorable! To bottle up this genie, XBIZ sat down with the reigning queen of Europe, for this exclusive interview.

XBIZ: What inspired you to join the adult industry?

Adara: I never thought I wanted do porn before, but when I was 18, somebody came to me in a club and asked me if I was interested in shooting adult content.

At first, I thought, “No way!” But then, well, I started to become very curious. So eventually I tried it out and did my first scene, which was amazing … and I loved it! I felt it was something I can do with passion, and ever since, I’ve loved it.

XBIZ: Have you developed any new kinks or sexual needs over the years, compared to before you became a porn star?

Adara: Basically, I discovered my whole sexuality in porn. Before I had turned 18 and joined the industry, I didn’t know a lot about what I liked or what I didn’t like sexually. Now, I’m more open than ever before.

I have different experiences and it never seems to end, discovering more about myself. Every day, you can find out something new about you or your sexuality in the business. That’s why it’s great!

XBIZ: Talk about your website AmirahAdaraXXX.com and what unique content you offer on it.

Adara: When I first started the website, I shot a lot of scenes for it, but in the last few years, I became so very busy shooting for companies, that I didn’t really have too much time for my website, sadly. But, in the future, I definitely plan to continue updating it even more! So, be sure to stay tuned.

XBIZ: What is your social media strategy for keeping fans excited and tuned in to your latest projects?

Adara: I don’t really have a strategy, to be honest, haha. I just like to keep my fans updated about what’s happening with me, in my real-life and in the world of porn.

I really like to communicate with my fans, so social media comes naturally to me. Without our fans, we are nothing as porn stars! And it’s also a good way to get feedback about what I do.

XBIZ: Who are your industry friends and how have they shaped you?

Adara: I have a lot, because this is like a family in this business! The three best friends I have made in the adult industry are Cathy Heaven, Sicilia and Tina Kay. They are amazing, always there for me and I’m always there for them too! They are all truly unconditional friends.

Also, my first serious boyfriend is from the business as well — Antonio Ross. We’ve known each other since I first started, and after eight years, for the first time in my life, I’ve fallen in love. This business has truly given me a lot already!

XBIZ: Tell us the main differences between shooting in Europe vs. the U.S.

Adara: In the U.S. there is a really big porn industry that is more organized and offers a bigger market for becoming a star. They have very important awards and events there that we didn’t really have before.

That’s why I’m very happy now that the first-ever XBIZ Europa Awards happened. This is a very big thing for Europe! Thanks for this! In Europe, what I really like is that we can travel a lot, because there are shoots all around, happening all the time.

XBIZ: Are there any directors who have helped you become a stronger performer?

Adara: There are many who have helped me, actually. I started with a really bad agent and it was not easy to rebuild my name after him. A few names who really helped me become who I am right now, and continue to guide me in evolving are Brillbabes, Mikey, Frank Major, Rocco Siffredi and Jordan Hart.

XBIZ: Do you pursue other moneymaking opportunities outside of traditional shoots, like clips, cams or Snapchat types of platforms?

Adara: Not really, because I’m shooting between 15 to 25 scenes per month, so if I have a little free time I prefer to spend it with my boyfriend, my family and my friends. But, maybe in the future I will!

XBIZ: What was it like attending XBIZ Berlin this year and making history as the first-ever XBIZ Europas Female Performer of the Year?

Adara: It was amazing! It was one of the best moments in my life. Thank you so much to XBIZ for making this happen and I hope we’re going to continue having XBIZ Europa Awards in the coming years as well! Love you!

XBIZ: Share your professional goals for the next year.

Adara: I want to keep shooting as much as I like and also start trying myself out as a producer and production manager. I also actually want to write a book about my experiences in the business and I have another project starting, which you’re going to see later. It’s going to be pretty cool I think!
