Q&A: Fit Sid Triumphs With BBW Fitness

Q&A: Fit Sid Triumphs With BBW Fitness

Fit Sid is bootylicious and fit-as-hell, with curves, smarts and passion in all the right places.

With that dangerously beautiful combination, she shines bright on OnlyFans, where Sid loves to live stream as a cam model and upload highly-popular content.

After all, she really knows how to capture all manner of wild times, like threesomes at Fetish Con, indie girl/girl clips, solo seduction and daily hijinks, distributing that digital XXX gold through FitSid.com and other revenue streams.

When she isn’t sexting, she’s lighting up SnapChat with naughty fun, sending SFW social media teases through @FitSidney on Twitter and @stalkingsidney on Instagram, or taking a much-needed persona life break from the mayhem.

And if there was any question about her popularity, the sheer volume of votes she inspired during the XBIZ Cam Awards competition sang out a resounding answer, as she took home the Best BBW Cam Model trophy amidst raucous applause.

To spotlight her rise to fame, XBIZ hopped into the gym with fitness pro Sid for this exclusive Cam Star of the Month interview.

XBIZ: What inspired you to join the adult industry? Talk about the challenges you overcame and the biggest learning experiences from your first few months.

Sid:  When it came to joining the adult industry, the opportunity fell into my lap. Originally, I was working as a bikini barista and loving it! After struggling with body image most of my life, I was finally becoming more comfortable with my body and loved feeling good about myself. This also provided me the realization that I could capitalize on my sex appeal as I was serving coffee.

Then, I was driving to work one day in my 1997 Mercury Villager, when it broke down on the side of the freeway in 116-degree Arizona heat. I had no money to do anything ... so I sat there and waited for someone to help me. During that time, I realized being dependent on other people was not something I enjoyed. I knew I wanted to be financially independent and be able to pay for college. I was a college girl that had not taken a nude photo in over a year but I decided to start selling nudes that day.

Once I realized how many people wanted to pay for my nude photos, I realized how amazing this could be. For several months, I only offered topless content, but over time I became more comfortable offering full body using my premium Snapchat. Looking back on those first few months, my innocent and insecure self was trying to be “hot” to be marketable. Over time, when I was more comfortable, I realized that I actually didn’t have to try and be anything except myself. It was beautiful to realize people liked me for who I am, that glasses-wearing, curvy girl.

About three weeks in, I knew I wanted to continue doing this. I loved it. It felt liberating and brought something into my life that was missing before ... freedom. At the beginning, I struggled to share my happiness and new occupation with family and friends. One of my biggest challenges was telling my parents. There isn’t a “how to” book explaining the best ways to tell your parents you are now in the adult industry. I was worried that my parents would be upset, judge me and possibly ruin our close relationship … but instead they were so loving and supportive.

Who could have known that less than a year later, I would be interviewed for an adult industry article? And all because my vehicle broke down one hot summer day, changing my life for the better.

XBIZ: How would you (and your fans) describe the “Fit Sid” brand, as far as personality, interests and style?

Sid: The brand style for Fit Sid is truly me. Spreading positivity, authenticity and showing off my fun sexual adventures. When I started this journey, I was such an innocent fitness girl, but now my content is documenting my real life sexcapades. Fit Sid is truly exploring her sexuality, likes and dislikes.

My parents always raised me to be comfortable and confident in my own skin as well as caring, especially my dad. This meant staying true to myself and truly owning who I am. My fans know that I am always myself — happy, goofy, curvy, fun and open to new things. My goal is to make my fans smile and cum when they see my content.

XBIZ: Which revenue streams do you pursue the most, from camming to clips and beyond?

Sid: I love camming on OnlyFans using their beta live streaming option, it’s given me the opportunity to show my paid subscribers more of my personality, which makes the clips come to life. I pursue clip creation the most these days and love doing it. Most of my videos are not edited very much and show my true experiences when exploring my many interests and wild side.

I love being able to turn the camera on and record my interaction with someone else or by myself. Overall clips are my main revenue stream, using my OnlyFans monthly subscription and then my premium Snapchat. To anyone looking to make content, my biggest advice would be to publish it online for others. Do not focus on paid shoots, because you will not have the rights to your beautiful content. Own your content and sell it to your fans.

XBIZ: Tell us about your favorite platform for streaming and selling content.

Sid: My favorite is OnlyFans. This platform is amazing for multiple reasons, but I have three main ones. First, you can schedule your content ahead of time. This gives me the opportunity to post more and direct message my fans rather than having to upload that day.

Second, tagging other people I have collaborated with who also have an OnlyFans account. This gives me the opportunity to show my fans other amazing people who they can support too.

Third, the opportunity to message each fan individually and give them each their own experience. Fans can tell me about their fetishes, daily lives and ask for customs. I love being able to get to know my fan base. I have been on OnlyFans since November 2018 and the experience has been amazing the entire time. This platform is my favorite and most used.

XBIZ: What is your approach to marketing, as far as social media, answering DMs, emails, etc. to get the word out?

Sid: My approach to marketing is simple — show my fans and potential fans what they could get to see daily. It’s all about the tease … if you give too much away when you are an independent content creator, then I believe you will lose value. If they can get what they need off your Twitter, they won’t pay to see it on your platforms.

My marketing mantra is "pay to play." Everyone wants to play, so if you make it so they have to pay, it becomes a sustainable job for you. Everyone will want it for free and tell you they won’t buy it, but many people will ... these are your fans that you take care of and cater to their fantasies.

So, with marketing, I never show my nipples or vagina on the internet for free — this is a personal choice and has worked very well for me. It makes me feel good knowing it’s behind a paywall and paying for my college education.

XBIZ: Talk about your fitness routine and how you maintain a healthy, body-positive lifestyle that inspires others.

Sid: As someone who actually went from the fitness industry to the adult industry, I have been able to take some key things with me. I know how isolated some people feel when you are creating content and working all the time, it gets hard. I have found that getting up out of bed when I actually wake up and not looking at my phone has really helped my mental health.

As someone who has struggled with depression, I have had to create a healthy and positive lifestyle. First, having a solid morning routine is key. You don’t need to do the same things daily but doing a couple things every morning really helps. Second, having positive people around you. Find people who make you feel good on the inside and care. Third, getting active is key.

I take my dog for a walk every morning and night to get some fresh air and endorphins. When you work from home or are on set all day, it’s so important to have a different space to work out at and clear your head. It is something I reevaluate and adjust all the time. Our lives change, so my self-care regime needs to do the same. By doing this, I have been able to have such a positive and healthy lifestyle.

XBIZ: How do you balance your career with your personal life?

Sid: Balancing my career and personal life at times has its challenges. I love what I do, but at times you just have to separate them. Usually in the morning, I keep it separate by walking my dog before I check my electronics, this way I can have a little bit of personal time to myself.

I usually start my workday around 7 a.m. and work until 3 p.m. and then take a solid break to catch up with a friend or hit the gym. During this time, I try to avoid my phone, so I am not getting caught up with things in my work life and working through my personal time.

And later on in the night, I hop on my OnlyFans and take some time to answer direct messages. This is how I separate my personal and work life the best that I can. At the end of the day, they bleed through often because I just love what I do. Some days, though, I turn my phone off and just spend time with friends and family completely. We all need it, otherwise you can get burnt out fast.

XBIZ: Tell us what your favorite hobbies and interests are, within the industry and outside of it.

Sid: If being a social butterfly or chatterbox is considered a hobby, that would be my favorite thing to do. I really love being around people. One of the things I love about my community is being able to meet new people, especially open-minded ones. I also love to travel.

When I was young, my mom made it her priority to show me the world on a budget. Being a dual citizen, I have had the blessing of travel and seeing things I can’t see in my own hometown. My next goal would be to travel and shoot my sexcapades in Europe, that would be a dream come true.

In my free time, I love getting a good exercise, that makes me happy. Whenever I have time to weight lift, I take the time. I have a huge passion for fitness and living a healthier lifestyle. One of my hobbies is shoulder workouts, don’t ask me why, I just love hitting that muscle group.

From meeting new people and traveling, to getting sweaty in the gym, my main passion is living my life with a positive outlook. There is good that comes from every situation.

XBIZ: What was it like attending XBIZ Miami this year, where you were crowned Best BBW Cam Model at the Cam Awards?

Sid: XBIZ Miami was my third industry event and my favorite by far. I had such an amazing time meeting new people, walking a red carpet (first time for me!) and then to have the privilege of winning an award ... it was just an overall amazing experience.

I feel so blessed to have met so many amazing empowering women such as Ivy de La Courte, Kezia420 and Sofia Rose. I have never felt so connected and welcomed in a place before this. When it came to the award show, I was sitting in the back, excited just to be there. It was so exciting to be in a room full of people who truly embrace our community and want to make amazing adult content.

Then, when I won, I was in total shock! I even had my wardrobe malfunction, because I never expected I would end up on stage. I am so excited for next year and can’t wait to see how the industry evolves and grows this upcoming year.

XBIZ: Any major ambitions for the upcoming year?

Sid: I have two major ambitions for this upcoming year. First, I am so excited to announce the launch of Fit Sid Studios. I know there is a lot for me to learn, but I want to do that by growing with other models and making more content with them. Fit Sid Studios is going to be connecting models together, empowering higher quality content and sparking creativity.

I have been so blessed in this industry, that my goal is to share what I have learned with others. If any models are interested, please go to my other Twitter account @FitSidStudios to reach out. Second, I am manifesting a content creation trip through UK and EU in 2020. I have had the absolute honor of working with people based in the U.S. and would love to venture out to see the adult industry in a different part of the world.

My goal is to connect, create amazing content and culture myself more along the way. If anyone is based in the U.K. or EU, I would love to have the chance to work with you. I am so excited about what the future holds for myself, my brand and all my fellow industry people!
