Boss Babe: How to Make the Most of MILF Stardom

Boss Babe: How to Make the Most of MILF Stardom

Ten years ago, if anybody would have said to me, "Bridgette B., in a few years, you will win MILF Performer of the Year at the XBIZ Awards not only once, but twice, and win at other award shows as well," I would have laughed and said, “No way!”

However, here I am … with a decade of dedication to my work, my craft as an entertainer and my love for an industry that welcomed me with open arms … all the while, maintaining that I am in fact, not a real MILF.

The beginnings of my career were as organic as any performer could have wished for; nothing was handed to me. I strived to prove and pave my way through hard work and positive work ethics.

The more I realized this was an industry I belonged in, the more agents, directors, photographers, studios and others gave me opportunities to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk as well.

My admiration for fellow performers, those who have come before me and those I've been nominated alongside, goes beyond the superficialities of the entertainment world. This group of women includes some of the most beautiful, strong and nurturing talent, both on and off set, and it’s been an honor to be included amongst them.

Although the term MILF stands for a very specific niche, I hope my on-screen performances have furthered the evolution of the term. In this fantasy world, anything, much like in mainstream, can happen. This industry as a whole has continued to evolve in a world where anyone with a phone can upload and become a viral sensation.

When I started, I did not have access to such social media phenomena. In fact, other than Myspace, there wasn't a platform to grow a fan base. You had to go out and get them through features, movies, magazine covers, etc. Dare I say, I hit the pavement and hard ... no pun intended.

To my fan base, who have been with me from the beginning and made all of these opportunities possible, I thank you so much for allowing all my sexual fantasies to be explored and further allow my evolution as a performer.

Winning an award doesn't make anything easier for anyone, but I am beyond grateful for them and will continue to strive for excellence in not only my performances, but also whatever I put out for my fans to enjoy.

As I enter into the world of pleasure products via Looby Tooby with my all-organic lube, and into the world of talent management, as I open up a firm to be a guiding hand to future generations of this industry, I thank each and every person who has helped me in my career.

I can’t wait to continue entertaining, developing and growing as not only an artist, but as a business babe as well. Let the fun continue!
