Tornado of Creativity: Upping My Content Game With the Winds of Change

Tornado of Creativity: Upping My Content Game With the Winds of Change

This lockdown has been trying for most of us. We can’t work, socialize or exercise the way we are used to, we face career and financial uncertainty, we lost access to things we love (for me, opera and meeting my D&D homies), we have been stuck in our homes without travel and most difficult of all, I think, is that we don’t know what is going to happen next.

But for me, some good has resulted from the lockdown. This pause has reminded me of life’s basics and has been a catalyst for growth and adaptation! It’s been quite humbling, but also a massive revelation about what I’m capable of.

The daily challenge of bettering myself, my career and my outlook on life altogether is irreplaceable.

And so, I am happy for two main reasons. First, I have made a tremendous push to make, control and own my own content. I have the gift of absolute freedom to shoot the style of porn that I enjoy filming. I can wear what I want, say what I want and do what I want, when I choose.

Secondly, I’m spending a lot more time with my family, which has been wonderful! It’s been a blessing to live in a house with a yard and with my boyfriend during this time. I am very grateful. I dare not complain...

All in all, time management has proven to be a particularly powerful force in these crazy times. To me, it consists of two parts: setting long-term end goals and getting tons of day-to-day shit done. You can’t exactly know what’s important to do today unless you’ve thought about where you are going down the road, though I understand it’s not easy to ask yourself, “Where do you see yourself in five years?” But think about it, write it down and make a vision board. There’s power in knowing what you want. Manifest it!

As the self-proclaimed Queen of to-do lists, I love organizing my daily priorities within these bigger dreams and crossing them off. I think that in lockdown, when it’s so easy to just zone out, it’s extra important to have structure and goals in mind. It’s almost orgasmic when I accomplish tasks! I’ve even been nicknamed “Tornado Stokes” and function best when I have a multitude of things going on. That’s because I try to remind myself, “I have the same 24 hours as Beyoncé.” And I also think of the quote from literary legend Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who wrote, “Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it.”

Lockdown has also allowed me a lot more time to focus on my multiple fan interaction platforms:

1. OnlyFans (char_stokely)

I’ve found the best way to monetize and connect with fans is OnlyFans, because finally, someone created a platform that is flexible, secure and gives performers both the control and the profits from their own product. I can sell subscriptions, content, chat time, live shows … it’s endless! I love posting naughty clips and chatting one on one. Also, OnlyFans is so “mainstream” now too!

2. Twitch (charlottestokely)

I’ve recently set up a Twitch.tv account for when I play video games. I hope to monetize this soon, once I’ve checked off their to-do list to become an Affiliate, and then maybe a Partner someday. Twitch is a wonderful fit for me, because in my “free time” I play video games; if I can make money while doing this, the multi-tasking slut in me is wet!

3. SextPanther (charlotte-stokely)

I love using SextPanther for sexting and calls, since the platform is reliable, secure and the pricing is so clear and transparent. With more fans having free time at home, I’ve noticed an increase in phone calls. I fucking love getting calls from the fans! It ranges anywhere from super naughty calls, with both of us cumming, to a friendly loving conversation. Connection with fans is important, whether it’s sexual or not!

4. CAM4 (char_stokely)

I’m the North American Brand Ambassador for camming platform CAM4.com. It’s been so much fun dancing and vibing with a live audience doing three to four featured cam shows a month. The best part of camming is you can sign on and perform any time of day! Can’t sleep at night and feeling randy? Jump on cam! If you’re anything like me lately, your sleep pattern is all over the place. You can see my cam shows at CharlotteStokelyCams.com.

Ultimately, if you are looking for ways to make more money during lockdown, I highly suggest expanding your options by signing up for multiple platforms. I haven’t listed all the platforms I work on, but feel free to DM me on Twitter (@char_stokely) or Instagram (@charlottestokely) for more advice!

I should also mention that I’ve been a lesbian-only performer for over a decade (14 years to be exact). I’m the Queen of Pussy, with 10 consecutive Girl/Girl Performer of the Year wins and so many scene awards including 2020 XBIZ Best All-Girl Sex Scene for “Confessions of a Sinful Nun 2.” And so, I’m often asked why I don’t do boy/girl, if I even like boys or when I’ll do boy/girl scenes in the future. Let’s settle this right now, right here!

I am pansexual, so yes, I like boys, I like chicks, I like chicks with dicks; I love humanity and am attracted to it all. The main reason I don’t shoot boy/girl is the lack of condoms in almost all porn. I haven’t taken birth control since 2006 and throughout my career, I’ve seen unwanted pregnancies, abortions and people not ready or wanting to be parents suddenly thrust into a huge responsibility. It’s a logic-based decision for me to not fuck multiple random men on camera. Hopefully this brings some clarity!

That being said, I’d like to let you know of a huge positive change in my life and in my career. Last year, I met a man named Will, we quickly became best friends and were literally spending all our free time together. It seemed almost overnight we were living together. Today, we’ve been together 15 months and we live in a house, with his dog Tyson and my cat Kidden. This is special, this is different.

And guess what? Recently … I released a blowjob video exclusively viewable on my OnlyFans … I sucked Will’s dick on camera, gasp! It is my first boy/girl content in over 14 years.

I thought, “Is this going to ruin my career?” as I weighed the pros and cons. At the end of the day, however, I have the freedom to express my sexual desires with the people I choose on my own platforms. So I then asked myself, “Do we live to work or work to live?”

I have plans to release more boy/girl content exclusively on my OnlyFans with Will. We hope to travel the world in the years to come and document it together, recording loving, non-degrading porn together! If you’re into seeing this, you now know where to find it.

Reflecting on the lockdown can be scary, but the future looks good from my tippy toes. I’m loving the closeness I have with my amazing fans on my platforms. For reals, my fans are … oh my goodness, I can’t even put into words how much they mean to me … amazing, loyal and so much fun! The ability to own, control and monetize my content is amazing. The daily challenge of bettering myself, my career and my outlook on life altogether is irreplaceable. And I’ve found love.

I don’t know what tomorrow is going to bring, but I know what I have planned for myself and I will continue to write down my goals and cross them off, one sexy bold line at a time. Find out what it is that you want, what makes you happy and do it. At the end of the day, this is your life, your career and your choice. Just remember to take care of yourself and accomplish something new from time to time.

Being locked down doesn’t mean you’re stuck; learn to be flexible. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn what you’re capable of, express yourself on camera or learn a new skill like editing.

I don’t see things returning to “normal” for the rest of 2020. Who defines normal anyways? Life is always moving, flowing and changing. One thing is certain … you only live this life once. Thanks for reading, much love to you and you know where to find me!
