Samantha Mack is pure willpower, with the beauty and brains to flex serious influence in the adult industry.

“She taught me how to talk, how to move, how to film, edit and produce my own videos,” Mack remembers. “I could never pay her back for starting this career for me. She always told me to pay it forward and that’s why I created Porno Boot Camp.
“Through Porno Boot Camp, we have helped countless women and men start their own clip stores and fan sites, the same way Mistress T helped me,” she added.
In fact, that “Porno Boot Camp” attracted the attention of VICE, who documented Mack’s colorful life as both a stellar talent in her own right, and as an educator empowering amateurs and vets alike so they can rise higher than ever.
To chronicle her inspiring tale of entrepreneurial daring and triumphing against the odds, XBIZ signed up for lessons with the Clip Star of the Month for December 2020, in this exclusive interview.
XBIZ: As both an independent clip star and an experienced studio performer with storied brands like Burning Angel, what have been a few of your favorite shoots?
Mack: My absolute favorite shoot so far has been the crazy Halloween video we just shot for LoveHerFeet.com. I was able to hand-pick my favorite male talent to work with and they asked for my input on the script, wardrobe, special effects, etc. The movie didn’t exactly go as I had imagined, but it was pretty close. Spoiler alert: the man I’m with turns out not to be human. I also absolutely love working with director and creative genius Ivan at AltErotic. He goes to great lengths to make sure his scripts are dripping with comedy … and other fluids. The last time we worked together, we created a film where I got to ride a motorcycle, and then a nerd (I have a secret nerd fetish)! We had drone shots and I actually got to tattoo someone in the scene. It was wild! I’ve always been attracted to comedic storylines in porn. That’s what first drew me to Burning Angel as well. Porn is meant to be fun! And these companies really enforce that.
XBIZ: When did you start getting into OnlyFans and Clips4Sale content creation, and how has your content evolved the most over time? What’s popular with your subscribers and buyers?
Mack: In 2010, under the wing of Mistress T, I made nothing but femdom content. By 2012, I was quite smitten with my scene partner from an indie horror film and I convinced him to be the leading man for my xxx videos on my clip site. Just like that, I started filming hard-core scenes and I’ve never looked back. I still do the odd classic femdom video from time to time; but I much prefer getting laid and receiving countless orgasms while working, not just having my toes sucked, using human furniture or laughing at a very willing sub doing something ridiculous for my amusement. Regardless of what I filmed in the last 10 years, my dominant side was the focus. I was never one to be told what to do. I was always the boss. I was always on top, until this January, when I casually filmed with Derrick Pierce.
For the first time ever, I met my match. I had a taste of my own medicine, to say the least. That video, titled, “Spanking Samantha” and the one that followed this past summer titled, “Thank You Daddy” shows me in a light my fans have never seen before. It was a risky move. I was afraid my fans who relied on me always being in charge, would be turned off by a video showcasing such out of character behavior from me. Never before had I been seen submitting or begging a man for anything ... especially not “Daddy’s cum” … I’m still shocked that those words ever left my lips. But it was raw, and it was real, and they loved it. It was the first time ever any of my videos went truly viral. Across all my platforms, clip sites, fan sites, tube sites and my own website, that first video sold tens of thousands of copies! Nothing I had ever created before had ever been so successful. It sold so frequently it forced me to reevaluate how I perform on camera.
The response wasn’t what I expected. My fans began to cherish this “one and only man” who could truly please me. They started speaking of him like a mythical God. They didn’t want to be him; they were in awe of him. They’ve marveled at his ability to weaken my stubborn nature and they genuinely adored the authentic smile he put on my face. After 10 years of providing my fans with what they wanted, they truly rewarded me with their support when I tried something new.
Porn has changed a lot throughout the years, especially the last 10 that I have been involved. In the beginning, it was about being visually shocking. But over time, as technology evolved and social media granted easier access to the people we follow online, we slowed down selling visually shocking content and started selling intimacy and interaction through our videos. This style of selling intimacy and interaction is what makes sites like OnlyFans so successful. That daily contact and communication is something we never could purchase before when we used to have to go through the black curtain at the back of the video store to purchase a VHS tape or DVD that we hoped would meet our needs, based on the cover art alone.
After starting my career with clip sites and slowly expanding to other platforms, I heavily relied on fan interaction, through email, custom videos, comments and social media. This has given me the luxury of a very loyal and dedicated fan base. I have been able to change and grow with their undying support. I was successful when I was 250 pounds and I was successful when I was 150 pounds. The same way I was successful when I was dominant, I am still successful while exploring my very new submissive side.
XBIZ: Share your marketing strategies for driving sales and growing your fan base.
Mack: I truly believe in cross promotion! I go out of my way to promote the people who have chosen to work with me because I’m truly grateful. Even if the video is exclusive for them, I still promote it because I know if it becomes a best-selling video, I will be asked back again and again for more work. I obviously have no problem working with amateurs and even though they are promoting me to an audience of very few and I am promoting them on multiple platforms, at the end of the day we are all lifting each other up to the top ... some just get there quicker than others.
With COVID-19 driving the escalation of new independent contact creators, I truly believe that we need to stop seeing each other as competition. There’s no need to fight over who releases the scene first. The porn audience is vast and the more lips your name is on, the faster your audience will grow. They may have bought your video from someone else. But if you’re good, truly good, the new audience will trip over themselves to find more of you. They’ll come seeking your content. Trust the quality of your work and the insatiable masturbation needs of your viewers.
We should appreciate our fellow talent and co-workers who promote, post and share our content. It’s truly the best form of advertising and the fastest way to grow! Take my advice and work as a team. Individually we are good, but together we can be unstoppable. Somebody else’s success is not a threat to your own. We must stop acting like we are in competition with each other. We will get much further ahead lifting each other up, supporting each other and helping each other achieve new success.
This is why I changed my website and clip sites from “The Samantha Mack” to “Mack Movies,” to promote and give an audience to the new talent I’ve been working with through Porno Boot Camp and Mack Models.
XBIZ: Let’s talk about your Mack Models agency. How do you handle recruiting, booking and everything else for it?
Mack: Until now, Mack Models has strictly been for Vancouver talent. However big changes are coming very soon. Anyone can email our website asking to join our roster. However, very few actually make it. Most of the emails we receive are sent late at night and on weekends, when applicants are full of courage that they suddenly regret come Monday morning. But the ones who do make it for assessments and auditions, more often than not, become quite successful. I’m currently working remotely while living here in Los Angeles booking, coaching and producing shoots back in Vancouver.
XBIZ: Discuss your “Porno Boot Camp” series and what it was like being documented by VICE.
Mack: I was on set for a different VICE project when I started talking about what I do. They thought I was fascinating and within days, I was receiving phone calls from producers and directors from across the country to organize an exclusive documentary about Porno Boot Camp. I remember our first conference call, when I asked them if they were sure they wanted to do this. I told them it’s not as exciting as it sounds, it’s just my everyday life. They assured me that it was amazing and that average Joes being trained to shoot for reputable porn companies with well-known porn stars was truly VICE-worthy content.
Porno Boot Camp started as a behind-the-scenes video when my partner ShreddZ asked local director Anna Lee, to critique his on-camera performance after he was asked to potentially work for Kayden Kross. It was an opportunity he did not want to mess up. I volunteered to be his human blowup doll while Anna critiqued his performance in her office. We casually titled the behind-the-scenes video “Porno Boot Camp.” Shortly after, other amateurs were reaching out for adult film opportunities.
Anna told them to come to me for Porno Boot Camp to learn the skills necessary to perform on camera; because as we all know, fucking under the covers, with the lights off, with your spouse is much, much different than performing in a brightly lit porn studio, with a stranger and half a dozen people behind the camera making sure the shoot runs smoothly. Within a matter of days, I had a series of class outlines prepared, covering the many different areas of adult film performance … everything from ejaculation control, positions and transitions, to how to prepare and prep for your first anal scene, and the legal nitty gritty of producing your own content and starting your own sites.
Through Porno Boot Camp and with the unwavering help and support from director Anna Lee, our local Vancouver talent has had the opportunity to shoot with Joanna Angel, Abella Danger, Brett Rossi, Piper Perri, Bridgette B, & Cherie DeVille, just to name a few. COVID-19 has given us a very interesting opportunity to produce more content for even more companies. At this moment, we actually have more work than we do available talent.
XBIZ: Recently, you shared a personal story on Twitter about surviving an attack and your journey towards healing. Can you tell us a bit about that?
Mack: Twelve years ago, I was stabbed ... in the pussy. Spoiler alert: I survived! But it left gouges and scars on my labia majora. Since then, while stripping or filming, I always moved very cautiously, making sure to hide any evidence of the night that I was at the wrong end of a bad decision. I have been getting laser resurfacing done in Vancouver and when I came to L.A. I wasn’t sure where I could continue getting treatments. It was important to me to keep working on scar revision, because as I worked with different directors. I was no longer able to adjust positions, or use wardrobe to hide the scars.
That’s when I found out about “Rockstar Beauty” and Dr. Grewal. He suggested labiaplasty for the outer pussy lips which I had never heard of before. I was naïvely under the impression that labiaplasty was only for girls with “meat curtains” a.k.a. inner pussy lips that stick out. I was surprised and delighted to find out that the procedure could be used to tighten the outer labia as well.
That day, I booked the procedure, and 12 days later, I was under the knife. He removed strips of skin (up to three inches wide) of scarred labia on both the right and left; the remaining skin was pulled tight and stitched into the crease of my labia minora, giving me, for the first time in over a decade, a tight, smooth, nearly perfect pussy. There is only one scar it couldn’t hide because of its position. But at this point, I’m so happy that the problem is 95% gone; I no longer care about the one small imperfection. It’s almost been two weeks since I had surgery.
I’m a little apprehensive to get back to work, because most of my colleagues are very well endowed and my new vagina is incredibly tight. My wife asks me to make holiday plans because she loves to do cute festive things around the city and I can’t say no to her (come on, have you seen her?!), so I’m always left evaluating how many hours it will take me away from my computer and my many business endeavors, and when I can next create space in my schedule to make up the time lost. I really need to hire a team to start helping me, but I’m in that weird phase between needing help and truly being able to afford help.
XBIZ: How have you navigated this year’s unique challenges?
Mack: COVID-19 shut down the whole world and because all of my in-person jobs were taken away by this virus, I realized there was no time like the present to finally move to L.A. to be with my wife. I could spend lockdown at home in Vancouver, or I can spend lockdown here in California, so here I am. Thank god this is one virus that hasn’t affected our computers!
XBIZ: What’s next for your various ventures in the coming months?
Mack: We are about to launch a brand new version of Porno Boot Camp to accommodate not just aspiring adult performers in Vancouver, but we are expanding to a few new locations. Our in-person classes are becoming online classes and we are now more and more focused on helping people become their own bosses, encouraging and assisting them in building and operating their own clip sites, fan sites, etc. We are no longer just training people for the film productions that we are involved in. Like I said before, we encourage the mindset of supporting each other and lifting each other to the top. With our new format and the launch of our new website, along with the addition of our new coaches, and training, we will be able to bring potential talent from all over the globe into an adult industry spotlight that was previously out of reach for so many.
