Sexy Holidays to Spice Up Your Camming Calendar

Sexy Holidays to Spice Up Your Camming Calendar

The old saying goes that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. And while work can’t always feel like a party, there are things you can do to make sure you have more good days than bad days. Hosting holiday celebrations on cam is one thing many models look forward to because it’s a fun way to put fans in a generous mood. Some of the biggest moneymakers are Halloween and Christmas, but there are tons of sex-positive holidays models can capitalize on as well.

Mark your calendars, because I’ve put together a list of sexy holidays you can add to your cam show schedule. Not only does this give you a ton of cool theme ideas for shows and content, but you can also use the social media hashtags to gain more exposure and bring in new fans. Some of these holidays are international, while others are U.S.-based, but given how many cam customers there are in the U.S., that shouldn’t stop international models from getting in on the fun!

Some of the biggest moneymakers are Halloween and Christmas, but there are tons of sex-positive holidays models can capitalize on as well.

Lingerie Day – April 24

#NationalLingerieDay has picked up a lot of steam on social media over the last few years, with everyone from influencers to name brand lingerie companies riding the hashtag wave. To get in on the action, post shots of yourself in your favorite lingerie using the corresponding hashtags, and be sure to include a link to your room, so people know where to find you. It’s also an excellent time to let fans know they can treat you to some new pieces from one of your wish lists.

International Masturbation Month – May

This celebration started as one day (May 28), but is once really enough when it comes to self-love? Use this month to encourage fans to visit your room when they need to blow off some steam and celebrate. Use #InternationalMasturbationMonth any time you post a link to your room or any solo content you have for sale. This hashtag gets a lot of traction all month long, so use this in as many of your social media posts as you can to get the maximum benefit.

International Sex Workers’ Day – June 2

#InternationalSexWorkersDay is one of the most important holidays for cam models, so get your fans to support you with extra tips and gifts. While this holiday does very well on Twitter, use caution when promoting on platforms like TikTok and Instagram since they’re known to unfairly target sex workers. The last thing you want is to get banned because a simple hashtag drew too much attention to your account.

No Panty Day – June 22

No Panty Day originally started as a U.S.-based holiday, but soon went international because, well, people love a good excuse to go commando. Tease fans and guests with #nopantyday posts, then tell them to visit you on cam to see the goodies up close and personal. This promotion is best suited for Twitter, but you can still make it work on platforms with more stringent rules by posting a mock up-skirt flash (maybe with emoji stickers covering anything remotely out of the TOS range). You can caption your photos with something like, “Every day is #nopantyday in my room! Come see for yourself…[link].” Just be careful on platforms like Instagram, since they scan captions and text content for sexually suggestive content.

World BDSM Day – July 24

Bust out your latex, riding crops, chains, leather boots and anything else you have on hand, because things are about to get kinky! Titillate your fans with sexy BDSM shows and post lots of content clad in latex and leather. If you use a Wheel of Fun in your room, try adding some more BDSM-friendly actions into the mix if you don’t have them already.

National Sex Toy Day – November 4

If ever there were a holiday just made for webcam models to capitalize on, this is it. Host special sex toy shows, make sure your goodies are on display at all times during free chat and be sure to post as much sex toy-related content as you can to Twitter. You can promote on Instagram as well, so long as you ensure content still follows their terms of use. For example, you can post sexy photos of yourself holding your toys as long as you aren’t using them on yourself.

Global Orgasm Day – December 22

Encourage your social media followers to spend some time with you on Global Orgasm Day so you can celebrate together. Include captions like “Orgasms are good for your health, so let’s cum together! [link].” Again, take care on more SFW platforms, when it comes to what you write.

International Fetish Day – January 15

Yes, we need another kinky holiday! This one is specific to fetishes (hence the name), so if you do foot, food or any other kind of fetish shows, this is your time to shine. Post your specialties on social media, tagging both what you’re offering as well as the main hashtags. So, if foot fetish shows are your thing, then post a gorgeous picture of your feet with a caption like “Happy #InternationalFetishDay! Come see my pretty little feet live, only at [link to your room]! #footfetish” Alternatively, if you don’t have a specific fetish to promote, you can try something more general like “Happy #InternationalFetishDay! Come see me at [link] and let’s have some fun exploring our fetishes together!” (this is best for the Twitterverse, careful elsewhere).

These are just a few of the holidays you can enjoy on webcam. There are tons of other days, both sex-positive and non-sexual, you can incorporate into your repertoire for a little more excitement – and earning potential! A few other popular social media holidays are:

  • National Shower with a Friend Day – January 13 #ShowerWithAFriendDay
  • Steak and Blowjob Day – March 14 #steakandbjday
  • Cake and Cunnilingus Day – April 14 #CakeandCunnilingusDay
  • National Nude Day – July 4 #NationalNudeDay
  • Go Topless Day – August 23 #GoToplessDay
  • World Sexual Health Day – September 4 #WorldSexualHealthDay #sexualhealthday
  • National Kink Day – October 6 #NationalKinkDay #KinkDay

How to Halt Hackers as Fraud Attacks Rise

For hackers, it’s often a game of trial and error. Bad actors will perform enumeration and account testing, repeating the same test on a system to look for vulnerabilities — and if you are not equipped with the proper tools, your merchant account could be the next target.

It's Time to Rock the Vote and Make Your Voice Heard

When I worked to defeat California’s Proposition 60 in 2016, our opposition campaign was outspent nearly 10 to 1. Nevertheless, our community came together and garnered enough support and awareness to defeat that harmful, misguided piece of proposed legislation — by more than a million votes.

Account-to-Account Payments: The New Banking Disruptor?

So much of our industry relies upon Visa and Mastercard to support consumer payments — and with that reliance comes increased scrutiny by both brands. From a compliance perspective, the bar keeps getting raised until it feels like we end up spending half our time making sure we are compliant rather than growing our business.
