Winter Is Coming and Fans Will Too With Themed Cam Shows

Winter Is Coming and Fans Will Too With Themed Cam Shows

The holiday season can be a fun but stressful time for everyone. There is a lot of pressure to be with your family, buy gifts, travel home, spend money, etc. However, it’s also a wonderful time to get creative with your cam shows and show your fans that you really care about them. I have been camming for eight years exclusively on Chaturbate as Foxy_Gamer, spending every holiday season with my fans — playing games, opening presents and being inventive with themed content. I have experienced great successes and disappointing failures, and in the process I learned a thing or two about how to turn autumn and winter to my benefit. Below are some ways you can do the same.

FEASTING WITH GRATITUDE

Another fun way to make your holiday shows interactive and unique is to decorate your cam space.

A unique idea for giving thanks during autumn is hosting a communal feast-themed show, with a tiered “menu” that unlocks different parts of the show. I’ll create a “menu” of items like potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, turkey and pies, and set them at different prices for different acts. My fans can unlock them one at a time and, once everything is unlocked, the whole show can begin, and we can enjoy our “meal.”

NO-SHAVE NOVEMBER

A super fun idea that I cannot take credit for, but have done several times in my room, is setting up a “Bush vs. Bare” poll for No-Shave November. My fans can vote on whether I should have a full bush or shave. And since I personally don’t like being completely bare, I do “Bush vs. Landing Strip.” I pick two token prices very close together, like 99 tokens for a bush and 100 tokens for bare, and fans can vote throughout the month on what they want. At the end of the month, I also offer discounted paid votes, so if someone wants their side to win, they can purchase a bunch of votes to get their side up. This is a great way to get people to spend more on votes.

12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS

One holiday content idea I do every year is 12 Days of Christmas. I create a prize for each day, set a token amount for it and the first person to tip that amount gets that prize for the day. It doesn’t have to be 12 consecutive days; it could just be 12 days you are going to be on cam, or you could do 12 prizes all in one night. I choose different prizes for each “day,” such as being completely naked for the night, a naked plank, adding a vibe into the show, fingering, playing with a dildo, putting in a butt plug, or even offering a coupon for something naughty, which they can use for a future show.

DECORATING ON CAM

Another fun way to make your holiday shows interactive and unique is to decorate your house, cam space or Christmas tree, or make decorations on cam with your fans. I have done this in the past; I’ll make custom ornaments for fans with their names on them and put them on the tree in my cam room. Then I’ll keep the ornaments up all month, and they are able to see their names in my room throughout the holiday season.

UNWRAPPING PRESENTS

Everyone loves to receive gifts, and your fans love to spoil you with gifts, so another fun holiday show idea is to unwrap gifts from fans on cam. I’ll set up an Amazon wishlist of outfits, toys, cam room decorations, equipment, you name it, and put a link to the list in my bio. I’ll let my fans know when I’ll be opening my presents, so they can plan when to send me a gift. Once I receive them, I cover the Amazon boxes in wrapping paper and then open them on cam. It is a great way to get those items you have been eyeing and show appreciation for your fans during the holidays. After I open the gifts, I always send my fans a simple thank-you email for buying me a gift, and include a fun photo.

If you’re new to camming or are not comfortable with setting up a P.O. Box, gift cards are a great alternative. Create a list of items you want and allow fans to buy you gift cards for the exact amount the items cost. Then you can personally buy the gift with the gift card, wrap it up once it arrives and open it on cam in front of everyone.

HOLIDAY-THEMED TIER PRICING

Creating themed tier pricing, with each uniquely named tier unlocking a different prize, is a great way to maximize the holidays in a fun and interactive way. You can name the tiers after Santa’s reindeer, with Dasher, Dancer, Comet and Cupid tiers; holiday emotions such as Thankful, Joyful, Giving and Loving; or anything fun and creative that goes with your room. I price each tier based on what my room can afford, and each unlocks something different. If you are a newer model and testing this out for the first time, make the pricing accessible to your audience. If you have bigger tippers, price the tiers higher.

For each tier, offer something exclusive to give fans an incentive to join and get more access. As an example, my first tier will be a fan club membership and photo; the second tier will be a fan club membership, access to my videos and a photo; and the third tier will be a fan club membership, access to all my videos, a custom video and a photo. Each year, I’ll change up what each tier gets, and the pricing, to keep it fresh. I’ll also give each tier a special symbol that appears next to each member's name in chat, so when someone new comes into my room, they will see all the symbols and want to be included as well. I’ll list each tier in my bio as well, so fans can easily see what they get for their purchase.

HOLIDAY CONTENT RELEASE

Another idea, outside of fun cam shows, is a holiday content release throughout the month. I’ll record a few holiday-themed videos and release one each week of the month, pushing fans to purchase it during my shows, on social media and on my content sites. Then, at the end of the month, I offer a bundle of all the videos together at a cheaper price.

When planning out your cam shows and content for the holiday season, remember to get creative and listen to your fans. If you found a show idea that worked for your cam room last holiday season, you don’t need to come up with an entirely new idea. Do it again and just change how you do it. If you are unsure about what to do, ask your cam room what they want to see. I have gotten so many good ideas from my fans over the years.

Not every show idea has been a success, but I always learn something new and adjust it for the future. Remember: just be patient. It takes time and energy, but your success will come.
