Getting Super Steamy With Shower Shows on Cam

Getting Super Steamy With Shower Shows on Cam

Winter is creeping up on us again and autumn is already in full swing, so it’s time to shift our focus away from outdoor camming show ideas to activities we can do inside where it’s warm and cozy. While the typical go-to cam room setup might include a bed, some fluffy pillows, a ring light and your silky lingerie, let’s get a little more creative than that and explore a room that might not be your usual choice for a cam show: your bathroom!

Whether you take a shower or get bubbly for a steamy bath, these kinds of shows are definitely moneymakers, so let's rub-a-dub dub!

Viewers don’t really want to watch you struggle with the camera or get frustrated because it keeps getting foggy. A quick tip to avoid this is to use lukewarm water and turn on a fan nearby.

It may sound daunting at first, since you don’t want to ruin expensive equipment, make a mess of your space, hurt yourself with slippery floors or risk electrical hazards. But there are definitely a few ways to avoid potential downsides and make your show run smoothly.

WATERPROOFING AND PRE-SHOW ZOOMING

Your camming equipment is extremely important. Without it, you wouldn’t be making money and since you may have invested in good quality gear, you absolutely don’t want a little water to damage anything.

One of the best ideas I’ve seen is using Saran Wrap — I know it sounds basic, but it’s effective! use it to wrap up your laptop and your ring light; this will keep them protected and it’s an extra step you won’t regret taking.

Also, while you may typically get up close to a camera or move back while camming in a dry space, it’s not always as easy in a bath or shower. Make sure that, before you start your show, your angle and zoom is ideal, to avoid having to change it in the middle of the show with wet feet.

Do a test run to see how zoomed-in and in-focus you are. Make sure the angle you put the camera at is optimal, so the viewer can see everything you want them to, and zoom in enough that your facial expressions are visible, so you can still engage with your viewers.

KEEPING THE LENS CLEAR

Another big issue with wet shows is fogged lenses from water condensation; it can be the difference between a successful show or a frustrating one. Viewers don’t want to watch you struggle with the camera or get frustrated because it keeps getting foggy. A quick tip to avoid this is to use lukewarm water and turn on a fan nearby. If you don’t own a fan, keeping the door open does the trick! I love hot showers — we all do — but remember, this isn’t just a regular bath or shower; you are putting on a show with the goal of making money.

POSITIONING YOUR LIGHTING

Bathroom lighting can be a bit harsh — at least, mine at home is — so a ring light and general lighting equipment offer a great way to take your steamy show to the next level. But more equipment in your bathroom can also mean more risk, so you want to make sure everything is secure.

An excellent tip that a model told me once, and that I’ve shared with many other folks, is to always check to see where the equipment would fall and what it would break if indeed it tipped over. Definitely make sure the equipment is far enough from the tub that it won’t fall into it and always make sure to keep your electric equipment as far from water as possible. Also, you’ll want to ensure all cords are off the ground and protected. And finally, put towels on the ground so that if something does fall to the floor, it’s less likely to break.

CLEANLINESS IS KEY (NOT JUST FOR YOU!)

Just like you keep your regular cam space aesthetically pleasing, you want to aim for the same with your bathroom space. Make sure your tub is clean and not stained — mixing baking soda, vinegar and some soap can make your bathtub and shower look squeaky clean. Also, I was watching a shower cam show once and noticed a ton of hair on the shower wall, which drew my attention to all the hair so that I completely missed everything else that was going on. You don’t want this to happen to your show, so keep things clean, tidy and free from clutter.

TIMING IS EVERYTHING

How long a bath or shower show lasts is up to you. I would recommend giving your viewers a start-to-finish experience to enjoy, and although it’s important to acknowledge your viewers and interact with them, don’t forget about the voyeurs as well who want to see you in your natural state. So, a balance between being natural and putting on a show is best. Enjoy your bath or shower for the most part, but also don’t forget you’ve got viewers watching in anticipation of what you’ll do next.

STAYING HEALTHY DURING A WATER SHOW

When you do a regular show, it’s always important to make sure your toys are clean to avoid any UTIs or infections, and the same goes with a shower show. For all the ladies reading this, you have a delicate PH balance down there and messing with that can result in infections, over-dryness or micro cuts, just to name a few things that could go wrong. Something I never knew is that tap water has bacteria and chemicals, mainly because of the pipes, so try to avoid shoving water into your vagina!

If you are using a showerhead, don’t use it with full force, and if you are using toys, make sure to pee. A good tip is to have a clean jug of water beside you if you are playing with bath bombs or bubbles, so you can rinse yourself off and not have any oils, sugars, etc. from the products linger.

NOW THAT YOU’RE PREPPED, IT’S SHOWTIME!

With all the technical and safety stuff out of the way, let’s talk show ideas. There is a lot you can do in a bathing or shower camming session; all it takes is a little creativity and excitement.

Oil It Up: Oil shows are very popular, and rinsing it all off is a great way to end one. You can start off out of the shower, using your oil or moisturizer of choice; coconut or almond oil are great options. Rub it all over and maybe even rub one out, then finish the show with an even greater treat… you, in the shower! Now you get to make a little extra money for something you would do after an oil show anyway.

Romantic Bath: Get your candles and rose petals out and give your viewers an amazing girlfriend experience. Relax in the tub, enjoy the ambiance and engage with your viewers. You can treat it like you would a date night, but your viewers are your dates, and if you want to end the night off with some dessert that’s up to you, but this change of scenery will be sure to entice your viewers.

Post-Workout Shower: Do a workout, get sweaty, then hop into the shower! These are all activities that you can include your viewers in. Sweat, after all, is a popular fetish. I would recommend starting the show off with some yoga — naked yoga if you are brave enough — and once your workout is complete, hop in the shower and take your viewers with you. A great tip, if you’re like me and have a hard time sweating, is to lightly spritz yourself with water and dab some oil on your shoulders and neck to get that sweat-like glisten!

Couple or Group Show: If you have a significant other that you cam with, or a few friends you cam with, a group shower show will be sure to bring in lots of viewers. It’s different, unique and doesn’t happen all too often, so it’s sure to be a moneymaker. Just keep in mind: with more people comes more risk, so make sure everyone is aware of their surroundings so no accidents happen.

Those are just a few ideas that might help you get things going, but as you get more comfortable with shower shows, you’ll find that you come up with more and more ideas yourself! Don’t forget to also listen to viewers and find out what they want to see or what fantasies they may have, because if they want to see something special, chances are other viewers do as well. The most important thing is to stay safe — and of course, have fun.
