Siri Dahl: Powerlifter, Performer and Brand Ambassador

Siri Dahl: Powerlifter, Performer and Brand Ambassador

Do you even lift, bro? Siri Dahl does.

She deadlifts. Deadass she even once decided to swap out “my H-cup tits for an epic powerlifter ass” and now she crushes all comers with maximum gluteus maximus.

Having my inspiration as a performer rooted directly in the sex-positive, queer porn movement has always informed my approach to performing, and my career in general.

She also monetizes to the max with indie content spanning top platforms when she isn’t performing in titles for big-name studios like Adult Time, for whom she’s an ambassador. Excuse me, I should have said: for whom she’s an “am-badass-ador.”

Dahl is also a Twitch Partner, because when she isn’t smashing at the gym or smashing scene partners on set, she’s smashing those buttons as she streams with ultimate gamer-girl fantasy finesse.

Are you crushing yet? Get in line, pal. Everyone crushes on Dahl.

If you’re ever lucky enough to see her in real life, don’t say “hey Siri,” otherwise your phone might come alive and that scene you were watching with a certain sexy powerlifter in it might start blaring at max volume. Yeah, you know the one.

Dahl also has serious endurance. She entered the adult industry 10 years ago, took a five-year break, then came back stronger than ever with fans ready and waiting. How many fans? Well, on social media alone, she’s rocking a million followers across her accounts, and on OnlyFans she has more than 170,000 likes. Damn. And she’s quite prolific when it comes to studio shoots too, with more than 300 scenes under her championship belt.

More uplifted and uplifting than ever, Dahl is set to powerlift her career into true heavyweight status. So come spot her in this exclusive spotlight interview, as she shares her work-life balance and workout regimen.

XBIZ: What inspired you to become an adult entertainer?

DAHL: I was a 19-year-old college student who had recently come out to my family and friends as a lesbian — though I later identified as bisexual, which I still do — when I bought a membership to the queer porn site Crash Pad Series. I instantly became a huge fan of director Shine Louise Houston’s work. Crash Pad was unlike anything else I’d seen, and I couldn’t get enough of the real, raw and tender sex depicted with iconic performers such as Jiz Lee. So my initial idea wasn’t even to become a mainstream porn performer, but simply to experiment sexually with other queer kinky people — and also, yes, to satisfy my own fantasies of exhibitionism. By the time I actually moved to L.A. and performed in my first scene at 23 years old, quite a lot in my life had changed, and I embarked on the more “mainstream” porn career trajectory that I now enjoy.

Having my inspiration as a performer rooted directly in the sex-positive queer porn movement has always informed my approach to performing, and my career in general, in ways that are not always obvious — but it’s always there just below the surface. I’ve always approached things differently, and along the way I have made career choices that some would advise against — but it’s always in service of my greater vision of authenticity both as a performer and as one of many voices in this industry. All of that is a part of why I came out of retirement, too.

XBIZ: How do you balance studio shoots with independent content creation?

DAHL: Well, it can be a lot! But as a Gemini with ADHD, fortunately I’m fantastic at compartmentalization. Hah! Seriously though, it helps that I live in Kentucky most of the month, and travel out to Los Angeles and Las Vegas for about one week every month for studio shoots. That geographic separation makes it easier for me to balance my own content creation time with the time I spend on set. When I’m home, I’m focusing on my own content, but when I’m in Vegas or LA, I’m focusing on my studio work, and working on some content with other performers.

XBIZ: What platforms are you on for streaming and selling videos?

DAHL: I’m on literally everything, you name it: OnlyFans, ManyVids, Loyalfans, Fansly, Clips4Sale … and I’m working on some wider distribution options as well, as I grow my own brand as a creator. I never want to put all my eggs in one basket, and I want my content to be easily available to my fan base, wherever they are. I’ve grown a sizable community as a Twitch streamer too, and I achieved Twitch Partner status last year, which is very hard to do as an adult performer. I find that my fans love consuming my SFW content just as much as my NSFW content. That’s awesome for me, because it gives me a lot of ways to expand my business and interact with my fans, without getting into sex-worker-burnout territory, which any performer knows is a very real thing.

XBIZ: Discuss your brand and what your fans have come to love most over the years?

DAHL: A lot of my fans seem to view me as unpredictable, and I would say that they’re right. Whether it’s dying my hair a wild new color, swapping out my H-cup tits for an epic powerlifter ass, or abruptly retiring for five years and then rematerializing in a very different physical form, they never really know what to expect from me. But certain things are always reliable about my brand. I’m very genuine and friendly with my fans, I have a loud mouth and I’m always opinionated about current events — and of course I’m always going to be an insatiable exhibitionist.

XBIZ: Talk about your fitness regimen and how you incorporate lifting into your content.

DAHL: Powerlifting is a way of life for me. Aside from my work, it’s my second highest priority and no matter what, I always find the time to lift. I train four days per week — squat, bench press and deadlift, which are the core movements in powerlifting — and that fitness schedule is like a form of therapy. It keeps me sane.

I’ve been lifting for about six years now, but I got super serious about it three years ago. I love sharing my fitness journey with my fans. I stream my workouts on Twitch sometimes, and I regularly share spicier gym content on my OnlyFans. I have a home gym, so that means I can work out naked whenever I want to. Hehehe.

XBIZ: How did you become involved with Adult Time for brand collaboration?

DAHL: I was fortunate enough to work on some truly amazing projects with Adult Time and Bree Mills in 2021, so this brand collaboration really feels like a natural extension of that relationship. I’ve had many conversations on set with Bree and her crew about her vision for Adult Time, and I quickly learned that we have a lot in common in that regard. This collaboration really formalizes the existing relationship between Adult Time as a studio and me as a performer. Just like Adult Time’s tagline says, we both approach porn differently!

XBIZ: Which of your Adult Time shoots are you most proud of?

DAHL: The two-part Pure Taboo story arc of “Third Wheel” and “Third Wheel: The Insemination of Elizabeth” was so much fun to make. I am totally a theater kid at heart, and I absolutely loved the drama of getting to play Elizabeth, who is a very serious, emotionally troubled character. I mean, it is Pure Taboo, after all. I also thought it was cool to get to do a “taboo” genre scene that actually bends the concept of what “taboo” even is, as far as we’ve come to think of it in a porn context. There are no step-relatives anywhere in the story!

XBIZ: What’s on the horizon for you and Adult Time?

DAHL: Just in time for Valentine’s Day, I will have a new Adult Time scene coming out with Seth Gamble, and it’s crazy hot. I finally got to have my “Phoebe Cates emerging from the pool” porn moment, which I’ve always dreamt of!

XBIZ: Tell us what it was like sharing your knowledge and personality with industry colleagues at XBIZ LA and with fans at X3 Expo.

DAHL: I was so grateful to be able to attend XBIZ LA and the very first X3 Expo. Both events were my first opportunity since January 2020 to meet with other industry professionals and fans, and I definitely made the most of it. I enjoyed the panels at XBIZ LA so much, and it was awesome to see a variety of topics focusing on individual creators. And of course, Gustavo’s media panel was fantastic — not just saying that because I was a panelist, but it was really amazing that we had people from several mainstream news outlets in attendance. It was an extremely busy, action-packed week and honestly I can’t wait to do it again in 2022!

XBIZ: Any major ambitions for 2022 and beyond?

DAHL: In 2022 I’m planning to further evolve my career and my brand as a performer. I will be placing a stronger focus on roles in features and vignettes, and pursuing some special passion projects in that vein as well. And I’m sure I’ll come out of 2022 with a new hair color too, since this pink hair I currently have was meant to be short-lived. No idea what color I’ll be next, though — I suppose I’ll let the wind carry me wherever it may. Or let my fans vote on it.
