Q&A: Inked Firebrand Helene Boudreau Talks Vibrant Creator Career

Q&A: Inked Firebrand Helene Boudreau Talks Vibrant Creator Career

When Helene Boudreau posted spicy photos showing off a substantial portion of her breasts in full gown-and-diploma graduation regalia upon completing her studies at a Montreal university, it sparked no small degree of controversy, not to mention mega viral fame.

“Everything happened so fast!” she recalled. “I was already creating content on OnlyFans when I got sued by my university. The whole thing was all over social media, TV and radio ... I even appeared on two major TV shows.

I want to keep sparking horniness and achieve international fame with creative content that leaves my fans speechless.

“So although I was already having good success, my popularity exploded on OnlyFans, and so did the collab opportunities. I did my first live show with Jerkmate, traveled to the U.S. and since then, I just never stopped.”

Now, she is capitalizing on her blossoming adult entertainment career, exploring ever-wilder scenes with various partners in fiery scenarios, partnering with FansRevenue to expand her business, while also hawking merch at her IAmHelyArtShop.com.

“I started creating merch because my social media following absolutely wanted a t-shirt with the pic that got me famous,” she shared. “So I put it on my website. My lawyers said it was OK despite the lawsuit. All of this was really touchy, so I just sold it without the university’s name on it and it worked. I also decided to sell my art online. It’s a big part of me. I am an artist, and I have studied art for a few years. So I had a few pieces to sell.”

Showing no signs of slowing down, the inked minx is keen to seize the momentum and become a widely known personality across the globe, even eyeing opportunities to shoot with established adult movie stars in the U.S. to bolster that ever-valuable traffic.

Banking on her tattoo-loving followers who number over 220,000 on Instagram and 30,000 on Twitter, while boasting more than 66,000 likes on OnlyFans content — she can be found @IAmHely as well as her site IAmHely.vip — Boudreau can now add Creator of the Month to her growing list of accomplishments. Read on about her life, ambitions and more, in this exclusive interview.

XBIZ: How did you launch and expand your fan base?

BOUDREAU: My graduation pic definitely helped because it put me on the map internationally. Almost everyone at home and abroad was talking about it. But working with FansRevenue and Jerkmate has been the cherry on top. FansRevenue significantly helped diversify my income streams. They’ve also been helping me a lot with my content strategy and developing my personal brand. So although my audience has strong roots among Quebec French-speaking adults, I see more subscribers and fans coming from France and also other parts of Canada and the U.S.

XBIZ: What kind of content do you make on OnlyFans and what is most often requested?

BOUDREAU: If I could define my OnlyFans with one word, it would be variety. You can find lesbian, anal, slave, threesome, orgy, BDSM, roleplay, squirt and beyond! Lately, I’ve been receiving more requests for threesomes and lesbian stuff, which is perfect because it’s my favorite type of content! And as I gain more exposure, other OnlyFans girls and guys want me to collaborate with them. All this allows me to choose who I want to work with and deliver the quality content my subscribers crave.

XBIZ: How do you balance frequent feed updates with selling premium videos and photos via DMs?

BOUDREAU: Scheduling … at least I try! I want to have a good work-life balance by creating content in the morning and having free time in the afternoon to enjoy life. So I try to post every day on all my platforms by feeding my content schedule. A great way to balance feed updates with DM sales is to use pieces of my recorded live shows and sell them between my shows and posts. This way I can save time and maximize sales with the content I already have, without feeling overwhelmed by the workload.

XBIZ: Tell us about your approach to social media promotion and the challenges it poses.

BOUDREAU: One thing I can say is that there are quite a lot of limitations when it comes to social media promotion, both on TikTok and Instagram. I had to learn it the hard way when I lost my Instagram and some of my backup accounts. Now I’m being more careful while still trying to spark controversy. Fans love my content, but haters generate more engagement than lovers. So my personal approach consists of giving everyone a reason to talk about me and react to my content!

XBIZ: How do you maintain your health and wellness while working so hard?

BOUDREAU: Keeping my business and my personal life separate, as well as prioritizing myself, is key. Working too much is like not working enough. You gotta think about yourself! I also try to get help with the business side of things. I hired a personal secretary for help with my social post schedule as well as a team dedicated to my merch. Like the people at FansRevenue, for instance, help me a lot with getting new offers to promote and finding new opportunities. I have great content and all, but I have to know my limits. You get much further in life when you have people to help you.

XBIZ: Discuss what it's like working with FansRevenue to boost your business and grow as a creator.

BOUDREAU: FansRevenue is da bomb! That’s all I have to say. These guys are just amazing. They help me work on my personal brand and match me with some of the coolest brands within the industry. Right now, we’re looking to promote different kinds of offers on my platform, so I can boost conversions through my socials. I just can’t believe the amount of support they give to their models. They developed my personal website and even helped me do a few tweaks to get more traffic. Like I said, these guys are amazing!

XBIZ: Given your variety of revenue streams, which ones drive the most business for you?

BOUDREAU: Definitely promoting with FansRevenue! They’re the ones who paired me up with Jerkmate and helped me make over $100,000 over the last year in addition to my OnlyFans business. I wasn’t a cam girl before, and now it’s just one more string to my bow. Not only do I make money with my live shows, but I also boost my payouts by promoting offers through my FansRevenue link.

XBIZ: What's next in 2022 as you pursue your business goals?

BOUDREAU: I plan to diversify my content even more across my platforms and put more effort into Twitter, YouTube and TikTok. I want to keep sparking horniness and achieve international fame with creative content that leaves my fans speechless. I would also love to get a collab in the U.S. and perform with a major porn star. There are so many talented people out there I want to work with. You know what they say: Think big! Go hard or go the fuck home!
