WIA Profile: Nikki Night

WIA Profile: Nikki Night

Nikki Night describes herself as “The Fairy Cam Mother” and it would be hard to argue that she has not earned that magical title. Night’s multifaceted adult industry career has spanned content creation, model coaching, developing XXX websites for talent, marketing and even serving as sex toy company Kiiroo’s head of model success and managing the FeelStars roster of talent.

Along the way, she has learned invaluable skills that include site design, ecommerce funnels, writing site copy and learning about the pleasure products manufacturing process, as well as how to successfully launch a product and what it takes to maintain interest in and sales of products.

My favorite way of cultivating community spirit is through celebrating and sharing creator success stories.

During her work with Kiiroo, she was assigned to overhaul a small but successful longtime Dutch cam site, where she learned that while a good idea is fine, a great idea includes what happens two to three steps ahead.

After even more learning and growth, she now finds herself aboard premium creator platform My.Club, where she is the community manager. As WIA’s Woman of the Month, Night opens up about her journey, her goals and her approach to fostering camaraderie among talent.

XBIZ: How have your experiences as a creator helped you in your current role as community manager for My.Club?

NIGHT: Being a community manager is a very special role for me because I’m deeply passionate about serving and protecting the model and creator community. I created “Nikki” back in 2013, to be the person and resource I wished I’d had when I was a creator, especially in the beginning. This principle still guides me when helping models and creators to this day. My experience also allows me to anticipate a model’s needs because I’ve been where they are, I understand their challenges and I respect their work. I love my job!

XBIZ: What sets the My.Club brand apart in the adult creator economy?

NIGHT: For me, it’s the way My.Club combines AI technology and being a futuristic industry leader with real, down-to-earth human creativity, connection and business practices. The company prioritizes and actively seeks out creator feedback, and really takes time to consider what the models are saying. The importance placed on understanding what works for My.Club creators is just so nice to see and be a part of.

XBIZ: How do you cultivate a sense of community among existing My.Club models as well as newcomers?

NIGHT: My favorite way of cultivating community spirit is through celebrating creator success stories. I manage the official English-language My.Club Telegram channel and a smaller My.Club creator group chat where I routinely share these stories with models and invite the creator I’m talking about to share helpful tips or advice with the group, if they are comfortable with doing so.

I make sure to welcome every new member to the group chat and let them know they are among peers and friends, so they won’t hesitate to join conversations or ask questions. A community based on respect, sharing knowledge, growth and success will always be No. 1.

XBIZ: What is it like collaborating with the My.Club team behind the scenes?

NIGHT: The team is incredibly supportive of each other. We’re not a huge team, but we’ve become a pretty close-knit crew of colleagues. There are no egos in the group and nobody stresses about tiny issues. Instead, they confidently try new things and welcome constructive feedback and the opportunity to grow. There is a big time difference between where I am in Canada and the Cyprus office, so communication and teamwork are key. Everybody is so sweet. I especially appreciate that they never give me a hard time for looking like I just rolled out of bed to be there for my 8 a.m. start time!

XBIZ: Discuss the Digital Twin and how you foresee that feature impacting the future.

NIGHT: When I was introduced to our Digital Twin AI technology, I think I was speechless. I was so happy someone finally created a tool to actually help models work less and thrive more, and I couldn’t wait to share it. With 24/7 messaging, content and subscription sales, AI image generation and voice messages, the benefits of having a Digital Twin are clear. Creators are now able to scale up their output by optimizing their time and the selling process, while reducing their overall work input. Amazing.

We realized early on that this technology could help reduce some pretty serious human problems creators were suffering from as well, such as experiencing burnout, having a shorter creator career, feeling stressed and exhausted or achieving mediocre results. We saw Digital Twin as a way to give creators the ability to take a much-needed break, go on vacation and reclaim precious hours of the day that would be better spent experiencing life or spending time with loved ones. This could also be a unique outlet for creators to live vicariously through their twin. I’m often asked, “Can I make my twin freakier than me?” Answer: Totally! You are in complete control of your twin and can disable, delete or edit your settings at any time.

XBIZ: When you’re not focused on your community manager duties, what are the various revenue streams you pursue?

NIGHT: I’m always in hot pursuit of a good side revenue stream! I was recently approached about doing a book, and that sounded kind of interesting. Private coaching is always a lovely side business for me but I’ve been so focused on My.Club these past few months, I’ve turned down more coaching requests than I’ve accepted. I’ve learned over the years that doing quality work will inevitably lead to more work, so don’t be afraid to slow down and focus on one thing at a time. However, I did just get a Cricut, so my DIY arts-and-crafts game just went pro. I’ll let you know when I take over Etsy!

XBIZ: How do you approach time management, given your multifaceted career?

NIGHT: Time management has always been a struggle for me. I’ve made significant improvements over the years, but only after putting in lots of hard work, doing mindfulness activities and seeking advice from some amazing lady bosses I look up to in this industry. I’m a big to-do list maker and I find those work best if they begin with a few goals you’d like to achieve that day, week or month. I put everything into my calendar, including leisure activities. It’s one of the last things I check at night, to mentally prepare for the next day, and one of the first things I open in the morning to shake the cobwebs off.

Another handy little habit I’ve recently picked up is “habit bundling.” This is where you pair two activities together to optimize your time or make one of the activities more bearable. Example: I’m super pumped about learning Spanish and I also need to carve time out during the day to step away from my computer and take my dog out. So I now do my Spanish lessons at the park while I play fetch with my dog. I love it.

XBIZ: Talk about a few of your favorite hobbies and ways to stay healthy when you’re not working.

NIGHT: Dancing! I love going out with my friends to festivals and events and letting the music take over and just forgetting about everything on the dance floor. I also live next to a river valley and I enjoy hiking and nature walks, so I hit the trails as often as I can. I have a car, but it’s held together with tape, so I just walk everywhere and I love it. I never used to put energy into being healthy or taking time away from my desk, but over the years, this took its toll. Now I make sure to step away from my desk, stretch, take some deep breaths and get massages every once in a while.

XBIZ: What are you looking forward to accomplishing this upcoming year, personally and for My.Club?

NIGHT: I’d like to continue learning Spanish and be able to easily carry on a conversation. Learning a new language has been a lifelong dream of mine and after seeing my cherished colleague Andra Chirnogeanu speak so fluently in Colombia, I was inspired. Something just clicked and I’ve been practicing almost daily since arriving back from that trip. I’d also like to decorate my apartment to incorporate a crafting space for my new Cricut hobby and a filming space for shooting training videos.

Each month, XBIZ spotlights the career accomplishments and outstanding contributions of Women in Adult. WIA profiles offer an intimate look at the professional lives of the industry’s most influential female executives.

Natasha Inamorata was just a kid when she first picked up a disposable camera. She quickly became enamored with it and continued to shoot with whatever equipment she could afford. In her teens, she saved enough money to purchase a digital Canon ELPH, began taking portraits of her friends, shot an entire wedding on a point-and-shoot camera and edited the photos with Picnik.
