Laying Low

Amongst all of the changes you’ve no doubt noticed here at XBIZ with the recent launch of our latest version, is the disappearance of our friend, Webmaster Rocco.

While I understand that Rocco may still make appearances in our print publications, XBIZ World and XBIZ Video; he will no longer be featured here on the website.

I asked Rocco about his absence and he told me he was feeling vulnerable over his ‘2257 compliance, and was worried about prosecutions during the run up to the U.S. elections; so lying low from now on was how he hoped to cope.

Personally, I think it was more than just that. I’ve watched Rocco’s adventures for years as he struggled to keep pace with a rapidly evolving industry, and sadly I related a little too much to some of his antics. I think it all just got to him – or maybe he just grew up.

Maybe it was the pressure of dwindling returns from escalating investments; maybe he really wasn’t too sure about his paperwork; maybe it was just time for him to move on…

Regardless of where he’s gone or why, Rocco’s daily adventures will be missed.
