We Can Build Her
Liam Borg (Shawn Alff) is a stereotypical gadget head. He's quite smart, but he can never seem to transfer all that intelligence to the social arena. His social awkwardness leaves him a failure in one relationship after another. After a particularly painful breakup, Liam decides to visit Perfect Mate — a company that specializes in artificial intelligence androids. Initially skeptical, Liam finds himself stunned at how life-like the androids are. But the more he interacts with them, the more he begins to realize that there's more to companionship than nuts and bolts that fit together perfectly. Will Liam ever find true love, or will he learn that androids can easily fulfill the emotional connection that comes from companionship with a real person?
James Avalon directs this science fiction feature, which asks one of the genre's most popular questions: What is the nature of life? We have a classic story of humanity crashing into artificial intelligence, with the concept of love acting as the bridge between the two. Shawn Alff delivers his best non-sex performance, while the supporting cast all do their part to make this futuristic story come to vibrant life.
The story opens with Liam coming home to his loving girlfriend Lisa (Freya Parker). Unfortunately, he walks in on Lisa riding his best friend Roger Dean (Robby Apples). Freya is such a vision, and watching her have sex is one of the greatest joys in this business. The way her body inhales her partners is simply mesmerizing. Her eyes roll back, and whimpers of pleasure escape her lips as Robby feasts on her perfect pussy before he slides his rock-hard cock inside her.
Stricken with grief, Liam's loyal home artificial intelligence program VERA suggests he escape his painful reality by indulging in a sex program. The AI generates two stunning specimens (Alexis Tae and Molly Little) and transforms him into the action movie star Marcus Magnum (Seth Gamble). After blowing him together, Alexis shows off her incredible ass in a delicious cowgirl. Molly also takes a ride on the Magnum bronco in reverse, showing off her lithe frame and perky nipples. There's a fantastic sequence where Seth lays Alexis across the arm of the couch and pounds away at her while she flicks her tongue all over Molly's clit; then, he puts Molly in the same position and practically breaks her. Eventually, the buff beefcake unloads all over both their faces.
Melanie Marie, Evelyn Claire, and Nathan Bronson make an appearance as specially manufactured androids in a funny sequence that deepens the plot. Evelyn is only onscreen briefly, but she packs a ton of depth into her performance and is going to leave audiences horny and in stitches. Meanwhile, Melanie and Nathan get the lion's share of the action, fucking each other silly in a lavish living room that also manages to feel sterile (excellent art direction).
The tale concludes with Liam and a special model android (Kylie Rocket) finding an unexpected connection. Liam returns to the sex program, and the Magnum Marcus form for a right naughty romp with a Cleopatra-inspired Kylie droid. There's a definite hunger between the two that is expressed through their aggressive sex, but there's an unexpected passion between them as well. The setting feels luxurious and warm, and the way they caress each other after Seth explodes all over her stomach is rather heartwarming.
Avalon is a fantastic director, and this movie is amazing. He tells a true science fiction story (one of my favorite genres) in a way that feels authentic and relevant, and he incorporates the scalding sex perfectly. Shawn delivers what I'm going to call the defining performance of his career. Please continue to cast Freya in everything, because she is absolutely amazing. And keep an eye on Melanie Marie and Molly Little.
We Can Build Her is a sci-fi dramedy that explores the complexities of relationships and artificial intelligence in a near futuristic world. The story follows Liam Borg, a sophisticated yet out of touch man, as he seeks a romantic partner after facing repeated relationship failures. Liam's journey takes an unexpected turn when he becomes involved in the development of a cutting-edge android designed for companionship.
