Spike Announces Full Series of ‘James Gunn’s PG Porn’

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Spike has ordered a full season of “James Gunn’s PG Porn,” a web series featuring both adult and mainstream stars in comedic spoofs on adult film.

The season, which featured adult stars Sasha Grey and Aria Giovanni in its original debut in October, begins its run of 11 episodes today.

Like the first episode, the second features adult scenes and scenarios without the sex, leaving viewers with “some hilarious situations, and based on the success of the first episode, a huge hit,” according to Jon Slusser, senior vice president of digital and video games at Spike.

The season features Grey and Jenna Haze, as well as mainstream stars Jerry O’Connell, Craig Robinson and series creator James Gunn, whose body of work includes “Slither” and “Dawn of the Dead.”

Gunn was not available for comment at time of post, but when the first episode debuted, he said he enjoyed working with adult stars because “they were in some ways more fun,” adding that, “acting of this sort was a completely different experience for them.”
