The movie also stars Richard Tyson, Jonathan Davis, Lewis Smith, Kevin Cage, Reb Brown and Jeff Conaway of “Taxi” and “Grease” fame.
News on the script is still fairly quiet, and Jameson’s actual role in the film hasn’t been revealed, but rumors already abound, including reports that a recent extension of the movie’s production schedule was to accommodate an already-planned sequel.
The film centers on two federal marshals responsible for transferring an inmate between two prisons on Halloween night. The inmate, quite possibly some sort of demonic entity, has baffled prison officials in that he seems to have no identity. Wackyness ensues.
Jameson’s casting in a Hell-themed horror film coincides with the recent Vivid Entertainment release of “The New Devil in Miss Jones.” The movie, which is a remake of the 1970s adult classic of the same name, stars Jameson as the Devil and Vivid Girl Savanna Samson as Miss Jones.
Jameson recently ranked as the 50th most popular actress in the country, according to Internet Movie Database, which ranks a celebrity based on how many Internet searches are conducted for their name. Her results out-ranked Jodie Foster, Naomi Watts, Britney Spears, Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry, and just barely missed Julia Roberts.
Her recent autobiography, “How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale,” debuted at No. 9 on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
