Produced by Sex Z Pictures, the film hopes to provide a time capsule of today’s adult movie industry and its relationship with the rock scene, combining aggressive rock ’n’ roll music with, as one company representative described it, “enough sex … to last a lifetime.”
Lockwood told XBiz that the idea was inspired by the popular series of “Decline of Western Civilization” rock ’n’ roll documentaries.
“I was a big fan of the first [“Decline”] movie, and I thought it would be cool to make a movie that could combine that style of filmmaking with what we do, and add sex to it,” Lockwood said.
Eon McKai of “Kill Girl Kill” and “Art School Sluts” fame edited the film. Like Sex Z, a company primarily known for its all-sex gonzo films, McKai is a frequently referenced pioneer of the “alt-porn” movement.
“Lockwood was really active in the hardcore punk and rock scene back east so it was pretty easy for us to look down a similar path and see the same things,” said McKai. “I’m also a big fan of the Decline movies so it was totally cool to help him out on this one and be a part of this for Sex Z Pictures.”
Sex Z Pictures Owner Bo Kenney said the film is slated for release in January.
“Anytime you combine sex, live club music and a wild lifestyle you get something special and we can’t wait to put this movie out,” he said.
