Pure Play to Distribute Naughty America on DVD

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Fans of web-based video production company Naughty America’s websites can now enjoy the company’s content on DVD, thanks to a distribution deal with Pure Play Media.

“We didn’t want to restrict ourselves to just an Internet audience,” Naughty America’s Dusty L told XBiz of the move into DVDs. “Customers are hungry for our diverse, ongoing themed products. These will be outrageous sellers both nationally and internationally.”

Under the terms of the deal, Pure Play will distribute DVDs featuring footage from Naughty America’s online brands such as SoCalCoeds.com, NaughtyBookworms.com and MyFriendsHotMom.com.

Dusty L said Naughty America is rolling out DVD lines based on each of its 11 sites, and plans to release eight titles per month.

Pure Play will begin distributing the Naughty America DVD collection next month, bringing Pure Play into a number of new genres, including nerds, teachers and secretaries.

“For us, there was no better choice than Pure Play Media,” Dusty L said. “They have a solid, worldwide reputation, a great lineup — and we are bringing [them] something new that can only prove mutually beneficial now and into the future.”

Dusty L said the companies will promote the new DVDs through online links and print ads, but that word of mouth has proven to be the best form of advertising for Naughty America’s products.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed receiving calls from retailers informing me that that their customers have been hounding them about getting Naughty America,” he said.
