Porn Studio Offers Reward to Stabbing Suspect's Capture

LOS ANGELES — The owner of Ultima DVD has offered a $2,000 cash reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of Steven Driver (aka Steve Hill), who went on a deadly stabbing rampage Tuesday night.

“I currently cannot reveal any details about what occurred until the police have finished their investigation,” Ultima DVD owner told XBIZ. “I apologize for this delay, but I am just trying to aide them as much as possible in finding the man who killed my best friend during the tragic incident.”

The staff of Ultima Entertainment, where Hill and his victims worked, posted a tribute on UltimaEntertainment.com to their late colleague, Tom Dong, whose real name was Herbert Wong.

“Tom Dong was a cinematographer and actor of Ballbusting Pornstars, blogger, editor and webmaster of Armpit Girls, and he was also our best friend. We are very saddened by his sudden and unfortunate passing, but we are also celebrating all of his rich contributions to our lives and business. Tom’s heroism a few days ago enabled us to escape with our lives, and his sacrifice will not go unheard. He will be remembered in the industry as a actor and technical go-to guy who was a valuable resource and friend to all.”

Meanwhile, Los Angeles homicide detectives continue their search for Driver.

Officials say they aren’t sure whether he’s hiding and are asking for the public’s help in locating him. They also say he may be armed and urge anyone who sees him to call the police immediately.

Detectives are investigating whether Hill became enraged with his colleagues after learning that he was being fired and evicted from the offices at Ultima DVD, where he lived.

Without provocation, detectives say Hill armed himself with a sword, typically used as a prop, to attack three co-workers. They were then rushed to the hospital where Dong died as a result of his injuries.

One victim has been released, the other remains hospitalized.

Hill can be seen handling a sword in many of the scenes he performed in and many reports suggest he had an obsession with weapons.
