XBIZ Summer Forum Swings Into Action With Golf Tourney

LAS VEGAS — This year’s XBIZ Summer Forum started with the familiar cry of “fore!” as the Summer Golf Tournament got underway at the Royal Links Golf Club in Las Vegas.

Anticipated by experienced golfers and newbie’s alike, the industry’s top networking event of the summer was organized and presented by the XBIZ Summer Forum and X2K Consulting and Media Services at the four-and-a-half star course.

Sponsors this year included CECash, Cold Hard Cash, Epoch and MPA3, NETbilling and NationalNet.

Webmasters got swinging at 1 p.m. with the traditional competitions that included a putting contest, closest to the pin and skins game.

On hand to get the duffers into action, event organizer Stephen Bugbee said the foursomes were anxious to play and always looks forward to a great time at the XBIZ shows.

Bugbee told XBIZ that the course was in prime condition at tee time. "But it's hot!," he said.

He noted that he wanted to thank the sponsors and that the game was the perfect start to the highly anticipated event.

The XBIZ Summer Forum returns to the world-famous Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel & Casino June 8-10. The annual event brings together company decision-makers from around the globe for three days of high-energy deal-making, networking and informational sessions.
