Twistbox Inks Deal With U.K.'s Adult Media Depot

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — Mobile data services provider Twistbox Entertainment has signed a content distribution agreement with U.K. production company Adult Media Depot (AMD).

The deal, completed in early August, gives Twistbox access to AMD’s catalog of erotic and adult programming for both on-deck distribution through the leading operators in Europe, as well as direct-to-consumer off-deck distribution.

“As one of the largest producers of programming for the U.K. broadcast and satellite industry, AMD has the breadth and depth of content that today’s mobile audience wants,” said Marc Brown, head of content and programming.

“We believe this brand will be instrumental in providing U.K. and European carriers with the type of premium adult programming that can be responsibly and successfully marketed to today’s mobile consumer.”

Twistbox anticipates adding AMD’s programming to its content portfolio early this fall.
