Galaxy Award Organizers Launch Galaxy Week

BARCELONA — The organizers of the Galaxy Awards have created Galaxy Week, a new event that they say will bring together the key players of the adult online industry.

This year’s event will take place in Barcelona April 19-26. Galaxy Week will be the base for the second edition of these awards.

"Last year’s awards were celebrated entirely through the virtual world online,“ oganizers said. "But 2012 will bring us for the first time the Galaxy Awards live in Spain. This will give us the opportunity to meet the main characters of the industry and the vast online content there is to offer.“

The awards will be held April 20 in the banquet halls of the Hotel Eurostars Gran Marina.

The opening of Galaxy Week will take place along with Next Porn, a reunion for professionals of the industry. The event will include chats, round tables and networking that will have a special feature focusing on the Spanish-speaking market.

The Galaxy Fun Meeting, which will be held following Next Porn and the Galaxy Awards, will consist of playful activities and is geared towards webmasters, producers and affiliate managers.

The objective of Galaxy Fun Meeting is to offer international company representatives who have received awards, the opportunity to explore new roads of business with other leaders of the industry in a fun and festive environment.

More information will soon be made available on TheGalaxyAwards.com.
