2000Charge Reports Record Usage of EuroDebit

PASADENA, Calif. — Alternative payment company 2000Charge.com has reported record transactions across its payment gateway that use the EuroDebit payment system, the most widely used form of online payment in Europe for both one-time and recurring payments.

The Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) initiative involves the creation of a zone for the Euro in which all electronic payments are considered domestic, and where a difference between national and intra-European cross border payments does not exist.

“As a EuroDebit merchant, SEPA will increase your payment coverage from 100 million currently to more than 500 million consumers,” said Wolf Kring, CEO of 2000Charge.com, which offers EuroDebit as part of its suite of global online payment solutions.

“The new system allows us to process Direct Debits and recurring transactions in real-time directly from consumers’ bank accounts in 32 European countries. It is the perfect payment solution for European customers with no credit card or those who are reluctant to use them online for purchases."

The company said merchants that add 2000Charge will automatically be able start offering  EuroDebit  and a wide range of billing solutions because of the company’s geo-targeted “one click” payment button.

The company said EuroDebit integrates with any existing billing platform and all of the 2000Charge  services include access to secure admin pages with detailed reports and features such as fraud scrubbing, age and/or address verification and recurring billing options.
