LOS ANGELES — Exile Distribution has announced the upcoming release of the final two installments of Pornstar Empire's "I Am" series with showcase titles coming out featuring Mason Moore and Brooke Banner.
Exile co-owner Howard Levine told XBIZ the previous entries in the series, including the most recent releases "I Am Samantha Saint" and "I Am Lily Carter," have been well received.
"They’re doing really well for a new line that’s come out," Levine said Tuesday. "It’s particularly difficult now in today's market to get a new line out and when somebody actually does it, the distributors and customers seem to embrace it."
The unique model with the "I Am" line, which is content that previously debuted on the Puba.com network of porn star sites, involves each performer receiving a percentage of the movie's profits. The "I Am" series also features Puba girls London Keyes, Jayden Jaymes, Charley Chase, Natasha Nice and the reigning XBIZ Performer of the Year, Asa Akira.
"The girls own a piece of these movies," Levine explained. "It’s a big deal for them and when their fans find out, I think they’re extremely supportive of that kind of business model. I got really lucky with some of these new lines that I picked up, and Pornstar Empire is definitely at the top of that list, along with the AMKingdom stuff and Assence and OGEE Films."
Levine recently debuted his own series of movies called "Super Porn," which also features some of the top girls in porn today.
"I just pick the best girls in the business and put them in one movie. It's not brain surgery, but it worked," he said.
