Cherry Media Releases Adult Mobile Infographic

BARCELONA — Cherry Media has released an exclusive industry infographic today hawking the benefits of adding adult mobile as part of a general mobile entertainment business strategy.

The report, compiled by the Cherry Media marketing team, contains 23 adult mobile industry facts and figures.

Cherry's findings state that one out of seven Internet searches are from a mobile device and 25 percent of those searches use “sex” as the keyword.

Other information includes that 30,000 people view online adult sites every second and the average American spends 2.7 hours per day looking at their mobile devices.

Cherry also reported that adult video consumption on tablets is predicted to triple from 2012 to 2015.

“We wanted to create an infographic to provide executives with the most comprehensive overview of ‘mobile erotica’ in existence,” Cherry Media founder and CEO Julia Dimambro said.

She added, “Quantifying any marketing information regarding adult is a challenge, which is why Cherry Media, with our 10 years of experience, felt that it was important to provide the mobile and adult industries with proven market facts and figures.

"With recent reports claiming there are now over 5 billion mobile subscribers worldwide and that adult mobile revenues are expected to reach over 1 billion dollars by 2015, it is imperative that companies learn how to exploit this highly lucrative, and ‘crisis proof’ industry sector.”
