New Frontier Gains Access to Digital Playground Content, Talent

BOULDER, Colo. — The Erotic Networks (TEN), a wholly owned subsidiary of satellite distribution company New Frontier Media, has gained access to Digital Playground content by inking a deal with the Van Nuys, Calif.-based studio.

Under the terms of the deal, Digital Playground, which boasts contract stars Teagan Presley, Jesse Jane, Jana Cova, and Sophia Santi, will make its library available to TEN as well as all of the studio’s output over the course of the agreement.

According to New Frontier President Ken Boenish, the deal creates a framework for the two companies to work together on future projects.

"Digital Playground movies, with the Digital Playground contract stars, have never been available on U.S. TV,” Boenish said. “Now, they will appear exclusively on TEN. DP combines the hottest stars in the business with inventive plotting and intelligent scripting to create an adult experience that is unique in the industry."

According to Digital Playground President Samantha Lewis, the deal grew out of a shared philosophy between the two companies.

"It's taken us a long time to find a U.S. broadcast home for our content," Lewis said. "TEN's view of the market, and the way they address it, are very consistent with our own. We look forward to working with TEN to change the face of broadcast adult entertainment."
