Prior to signing the exclusive deal, some of Adonis’ award-winning content was already featured on the Maleflixxx VOD site, such as “Bed Heads” and “Thirst," a horror genre starring Rod Barry, directed by Michael Zen.
The continued rollout of Adonis content on Maleflixxx will begin with horror film “Boneshaw,” the recipient of three Temptation awards, and “Holier Than Thou,” a religious adult satire.
Jeremy Spencer, co-founder of Adonis Pictures lauded the Maleflixxx deal as a natural extension of an already successful partnership.
“We know that Maleflixxx works with many of our industry’s premium brands exclusively, and we see ourselves as a natural addition to their company,” Spencer said. “Working with them means we have ongoing marketing and brand support as we continue to build our reputation in this industry.”
Malelixxx President Eric Johnson welcomed the new partnership with what he called an “outstanding gay adult studio” that has slowly built a solid reputation in the adult entertainment industry.
“They create world-class content that our viewers love,” Johnson said. “More importantly, Adonis is interested in pushing the creative envelope. They’ve released ground-breaking and influential films that deal with subjects and storylines not often seen in our market.”
