“Hostile” marks a reunion between the director and Executive Producer John Rutherford, who directed Dane in “Out of Athens.” According to Kristofer Weston of COLT, the two collaborated on the casting of the film, which features a diverse group of male talent.
“There is definitely something for everyone in this cast,” Weston said.
The film stars Buckshot Men Danny Roddick and Alex Chandler, who previously worked together in “Hard Studies” and “Boot Black Blues.” The two men play American tourists who encounter Europe’s dangerous underground sex scene while traveling abroad.
“Their chemistry on screen, as well as off, made them a natural fit as the two American tourists with whom the audience must identify so closely with,” Weston said. “Their previous experiences prepared them for some of the most intense performances of their careers, so far.”
Matt Stefan, Lucio Maverick, Fredy Costa, Mario McGabe, Akos Piros, Julian Vincenzo and Giovanni Floretto round out the cast.
The film will be released Dec. 12. The trailer is available now at COLTBlog.com.
