LAS VEGAS — War Machine, in an amended complaint filed today in Las Vegas, faces 25 additional charges to a criminal complaint in connection with the beating of porn star Christy Mack and another man.
New charges include two counts of attempted murder, multiple counts of battery and stragulation, and preventing or disuading witnesses or victims from reporting a crime. He now faces 32 felony counts.
Clark County prosecutors told XBIZ that War Machine's attorney has agreed that he will remain in custody with no bail.
War Machine, who was transported to Las Vegas early Saturday, appeared in Las Vegas Justice Court Wednesday but did not enter a plea in his arraignment. A preliminary hearing has been set for Oct. 17 at 10 a.m.
War Machine showed up unannounced at Mack’s Las Vegas house last month and beat her and her friend, Corey Thomas, without saying a word, Mack said.
Mack said that she suffered from 18 broken bones, a broken nose, missing teeth, a fractured rib and a ruptured liver as a result of the hands of War Machine, who is a professional mixed martial artist competing in the welterweight division.
War Machine also is a former boyfriend of Mack's and has had scenes in porn productions.
Prior to today, War Machine was facing up to 32 years in prison; now he is facing a life sentence.
