The Marine Corps Times reported that Col. Stephen Brown’s signature would officially launch a formal command investigation of Cpl. Matt Sanchez.
Sanchez, who appearing in gay films under the name Rod Majors and Pierre LaBranche, was honored with the Jeanne Kirkpatrick Academic Freedom Award at the Conservative Political Action conference — the same ceremony where conservative commentator Ann Coulter called Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards a “faggot.”
After he received the award, photos of Sanchez schmoozing with Coulter and Fox News contributor Michelle Malkin made the rounds on both political and gay porn blogs alike.
Since starring in more than 35 gay porn films (and known for his prodigious manhood), Sanchez has turned his back on a porn career, and has continued to assert in interviews that he is not gay.
Some of the films Sanchez performed in include “Jawbreaker” (Catalina Video, 1995), “Every Body Does It” (Tenderloin Productions, 1995), “Hardbody Video Magazine 5” (Men of Odyssey, 1995) and “Idol Country” (HIS Video, 1994),
In recent interviews, Sanchez has confessed to his gay porn past and also admitted that he worked as a male prostitute for a short period of time, but told the Marine Corps Times that he hasn’t engaged in homosexual sex since he enlisted in 2003.
Homosexual sex is prohibited under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
“Marine reservists who act in pornographic movies while not in a drilling status are subject to administrative separation with an other-than-honorable discharge based on commission of a serious offense, that being indecent exposure,” according to Marine Corps’ Separation and Retirement Manual.
Sanchez is making the most of his 15 minutes of fame, appearing on recent episodes of “The O’Reilly Factor” and “Hannity & Colmes” on Fox News.
