Miles Long's EDM Label Taking Off With Chip E Performance

LAS VEGAS — Miles Long and his EDM label, Sights & Sounds, have enjoyed a string of successes already this year, culminating in house music legend Chip E performing this weekend at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.

The Miami performance will be Friday night at 9 p.m. on the Oasis Stage and follows Chip E's performances at the Eyelife Music Festival in Havana, the One Love Music Festival in Los Angeles, and his performance at the Full Moon Party in Na Jomtiem Beach, Thailand.

In addition, he will be attending the premier of the EDM music documentary, "What We Started," which follows the stories of Carl Cox and Martin Garrix and in which Cox lauds Chip E’s classic dance track from 1985, “Time to Jack,” as the the first techno/house record.

Currently, Chip E is working with Sights & Sounds artist Shannon Leigh B on a new remix of "Patience" for release later this year, which comes on the heels of a Sights & Sounds' event at CliQue Ultra Lounge at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

"We've been so proud to be on this journey with Chip and our fellow artists," said Long, Sights & Sounds CEO. "And we feel so privileged to be able to have Chip perform at the 20th Anniversary Ultra Music Festival.

“This label, which started as a small dream to give artists a platform to be able to get their music heard by people who wanted to hear it, has blossomed into something so much more because of the artists that have joined us, and the family we have created who encourage, support and collaborate with one another.”

“It's so amazing to see what we can accomplish together with artists who work together for the pure love of music, and not their egos. I'm so humbled to be around such amazing artists and human beings. Helping them give back is what gets me up in the morning now."

Long entered the adult entertainment industry in 1999. Between 1999 and 2005 he worked primarily as an actor. In 2003 he moved behind the camera and began working as a director, assistant director, cinematographer, cameraman and still photographer.

He later worked for New Sensations, Third Degree Films, Zero Tolerance Entertainment and Devils Film, among other studios, and has garnered numerous accolades, including 15 XBIZ Awards nominations.
