VANCOUVER — Set to kick off on Thursday, the Vancouver Fetish Weekend (VFW) is poised to be the premiere kink event on the West Coast, boasting over eight events lined up over the course of five days, culminating with the VIP Fetish Cruise on Sunday.
"Meet, party and play with local and global fetish enthusiasts from all over the world as the international community of fetish partiers, performers, models, designers, artists and photographers descend on Vancouver for a truly world-class weekend of unforgettable fun, exotic and erotic events," reads VFW promotional material.
Scheduled events for the debaucherous weekend include a free Kick-Off Welcome Party at Numbers Cabaret on Thursday evening from 8 p.m. (PDT) until late, Friday night's themed Seven Deadly Sins party, Saturday's daytime photo and pub meetup followed by the annual Fetish Ball in the evening, and the VIP Fetish Cruise on Sunday followed by the closing Grande Finale Bondage Ball, amongst others.
Hosted by adult performer and fetishist Samantha Mack with performances by Mimi Cherry, Bratpack, The Lost Girls, and more, Seven Deadly Sins party will be held at the Harbour Event Center on Friday evening. Doors open at 9 p.m. with a red carpet until 10:30 p.m. Performances and fashion shows are set for 11 p.m. and midnight with a large main level play area, a 120-foot fetish media wall and various dungeon and play spaces to entertain guests throughout the night.
As with VFW's other events, a strict no-photo policy will be enforced and fetishwear is required.
Join hosts Sandi Thomas-Goethals and Nicholas Goethals at The Junction Pub the following day to recharge at the pub's outdoor patio area in preparation for the evening's highly anticipated Fetish Ball, held at the Harbour Event Center. Stay late for the Official After Party, which promises "European kink flavor" in a yet undisclosed location.
For weekend pass holders, close out the weekend with the exclusive Fetish Cruise on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. along the coastline of Vancouver. A free shuttle is available to transfer guests to-and-from the harbor at which point an "ultra-naughty" nautical adventure awaits. With a large upper deck, dancefloor, rope suspension frame and kinky play areas, the private boat party invites "serious pervs" and "extreme exhibitionists" to come play under the setting Vancouver sun before heading to the night's "raw and raunchy" closing Grand Finale Bondage Ball at The Penthouse Nightclub in the heart of the city.
For those looking to decompress after a long kinky weekend, join the VFW crew for a final clothing-optional day trip to Wreck Beach on Monday. A free shuttle from the host hotel is available for all VFW weekend pass holders.
