LOS ANGELES — In an effort to "make the best of physical social distancing," ManyVids is touting its MV Live streaming platform, encouraging performers and fans to connect via cam and stave off coronavirus-related cabin fever.
"Whether you’re a performer or a fan, the real-time interactive streaming on MV Live presents a unique outlet to make the most of social distancing," a rep said.
MV Live streams are free to watch, with performers paid by tokens. Broadcasters can also offer private shows as an option for individual viewers to go into an intimate one-on-one performance at a price that the content creator sets.
"MV Live is the perfect platform for both sexual and nonsexual content," the rep continued. "You can livestream whatever you want and bring people together and relieve their loneliness, be it by playing music, cooking demonstrations, video gaming — you name it!"
Aside from camming on MV Live, creators can also utilize ManyVids to upload and sell clips, and sell fan subscriptions via MV Crush Club.
ManyVids also announced that several new coronavirus video tags have been added, as requested by community demand. The following tags are now active: "Coronavirus," "COVID-19," "Corona," "Virus," "Masks," "Quarantine," "Gloves" and "Isolation."
