BALI — Eva Oh, aka Mistress Eva, has added a "BDSM Identities" course to her online training curriculum that "examines the sexual social structure of BDSM and its specific identities."
The Mistress, Slave, Sissy and Pet identities are among those examined in the course, with the goal of successfully utilizing these individual leanings to "help open up a part of ourselves that we may usually shy away from," said Eva.
"Connecting with identity exploration in BDSM offers a certain amount of freedom in personal exploration," she explained. "BDSM identity often differs from sexual identity, as well as a form of disengagement from any shame or fear through this type of role play."
An online quiz helps Eva determine what a prospective student's BDSM identity might look like; they are also shown Eva's BDSM identity profile.
"If there is any possible upside to quarantining during a pandemic, it’s the availability of online learning and making the most of new opportunities,” Eva said. “There’s never been a better time to discover the fluidity and range of your true identity through self-exploration.”
