ImLive 'Get Wood, Give Wood' Campaign Donates 30K Trees to Madagascar, Pacific Northwest

NEW YORK — The recent "Get Wood, Give Wood" charity initiative launched by ImLive.com has raised enough funds to plant over 30,000 trees across the world, via multiple organizations which have programs to aid the recovery from forest fires in the Pacific Northwest as well as reforestation efforts in Madagascar.

ImLive committed to donating one tree each time a designated custom vibration was purchased by a viewer and sent to the interactive pleasure product a favored cam model used during a livestream.

The initiative originated from a request from an ImLive member during the company's "18th Birthday Wish-a-Thon," which is granting 18 wishes to commemorate 18 years in business. The member requested the company, "Plant a tree for every time a model orgasms."

“We had a feeling when we launched this campaign that it would perform well, based off of our previous initiatives benefiting environmental causes, and our users really stepped up for the trees," VP of Business for ImLive Adrian Stoneman said. "We’re thrilled that we have such a community here that is so willing to give back to our planet; 30,000 is a lot of trees."

"These trees will be going towards reforestation efforts in the Pacific Northwest and Madagascar, two areas that have been hit especially hard recently. We’re glad to be able to play a hand in helping these forests to recover and hope that we can inspire others to be think about the environment as well."

A spokesperson for One Tree Planted, one of the designated organizations to receive funds, praised the initiative.

"This is certainly one of the more creative ways we've seen support for reforestation initiatives, and why not? Integrating positive actions for the environment into everyday life will create a more sustainable future with a little fun along the way,” they said.

In related news, other wishes granted by the company during the "18th Birthday Wish-a-Thon" include  a partnership with Gray's Papaya to provide prepaid vouchers to the New York's unhoused population that can be redeemed for free hot dogs; donating one-on-one companion sessions to lonely seniors in assisted living facilities; and commemorating World Wildlife Day by raising funds for the endangered Titicaca Giant Frog (aka the Scrotum Frog).
