PHILADELPHIA — Fangear.vip will launch a new monthly print magazine April 1, titled "Influencer."
Fangear’s Director of Product Acquisition Adam Moore described the new publication as “a full-color, monthly print magazine featuring news, entertainment, photo spreads and more.”
Influencer, he added, “can be loosely described as a cross between People magazine, Playboy and the Huffington Post. Influencer is definitely going to be fun and entertaining, but we are going to cover the important issues as well, from mental health to abusive relationships to activism and #MeToo. We are going to get real stories from the personalities that live them.”
A rep touted the inclusive nature of the magazine, noting, "It doesn’t cost anything to be included in the Influencer. Cover stories, pictorials and all other content are based on what’s trending and important — and you don’t have to be a Fangear model to be included either."
"It’s not about the number of followers you have or how popular you are — inclusion is for everyone, male and female, with an active social media presence," the rep added.
A one-year subscription to Influencer magazine is free for a limited time. According to the company, over 1,800 users have already subscribed.
Added Moore, “It’s not always about the money. For us, it’s about awareness and building an audience.”
