LOS ANGELES — Christy Canyon, Katrina Colt, Mikey Star, and Anna Claire Clouds star in Digital Playground’s new comedy feature, "The Holdup."
Directed by Ricky Greenwood, the title co-stars Scott Nails, Charles Dera, and Van Wylde.
The feature centers on a mall Santa named Dennis (Nails).
“Dennis’ life is turning out to be an unhinged holiday disaster,” the synopsis reveals. “Recently fired after getting caught in a steamy four-way with some horny Christmas elves, he’s in big trouble. With his ex-wife Kelly (Colt) demanding alimony and his hot landlady Rochelle (Canyon) breathing down his neck for rent money, Dennis is desperate. Kelly offers him a job playing sexy Santa at her Christmas party.”
Greenwood enthused about the project.
“The Holdup is the perfect mix of comedy, action, and Christmas,” he said. “It’s like a mix of ‘Bad Santa’ and a tiny bit of ‘Die Hard.’ Of course, working with Scott Nails was amazing, but this time we had the incredible Anna Claire Clouds and the legendary Christy Canyon. I’ve always been a fan of Christy, and working with her was a dream come true.”
Canyon shared Greenwood’s enthusiasm.
“Working with Ricky Greenwood was such a throwback to the glamour years of my time in the business but maybe even a bit better,” she said. “I love the energy and creativity Ricky brings to set.”
Added Clouds, “I am so proud of the work we did on ‘The Holdup,’” she said. “The cast and crew really pulled out all the stops on this one; we had stunt coordinators, a snow machine, and so many other incredible additions that will absolutely make this movie a must-watch this holiday.”
The first scene from "The Holdup" drops today on DigitalPlayground; the subsequent three installments will drop throughout the month.
