SAN FRANCISCO — PinkLabel.TV is streaming a new documentary by Avec Les Doigts, co-directed by Carmina and Prune, titled "Remote Sex Work."
The release profiles the lives and work of a group of French online sex workers.
"External perspectives often impose a view distorted by clichés and fantasies, and even less objective representation of French online sex workers," said a rep. "With this context fueling desires to put their production skills to use, Carmina and Prune came together to produce their own documentary film on the subject. Balancing the pleasure of entertainment and the burden of social stigma, creativity and harassment, independence and isolation, 'Remote Sex Work' is a testimony to the reality of a complex and demanding job, both satisfying and exhausting, and for which a more compassionate portrayal is best documented by the ingenuity, talent, and craft of those who live it."
