Verotel Accepts JCB Cardholders

AMSTERDAM, NL – Verotel, a provider of online payment processing services, has announced the acceptance of JCB cards as an additional payment option for end-users.

With over 51 million JCB cards in circulation worldwide and acceptance in over 190 countries, JCB is an established brand in the world of credit card payments. JCB was originally established in Japan in the 1960's and as a result has a very strong presence in Asian markets.

Verotel will be offering JCB as a payment option to end-users in conjunction with a variety of alternative payment options such as online check, and telephone-based billing.

"Annually, $52 Billion in goods and services are purchased with JCB cards and our webmasters are more than happy to receive a significant percentage of this number," said Joost Zuurbier, co-founder and managing director of Verotel. "With Asia accounting for over 34% of the world's Internet users, and an Internet usage growth rate of 164% from 2000 – 2005, any payment options that are widely accepted in this part of the world benefit our customer base."
