LOS ANGELES — With no immediate injunction against the Justice Department’s new 2257 regulations in sight, adult companies have been issuing waves of announcements regarding how 2257 will affect their businesses as well as their affiliates and partners.
Following is a summary of information gathered by XBiz on the eve of implementation of the new rules. These do not include announcements previously covered by XBiz.

Updated all performer registration pages and requested permission from European and Canadian performers allowing the company to release their identities to American websites.
Integrated a tool into its software that will dynamically upload information on any performer as soon as webmasters enable the performer from its MBase.

Updated its terms of service and asked affiliates and authorized resellers to remove all sexually explicit promotional content from their websites, servers, local storage drives and networks.
Bangbrosonline/Oxcash
Created Bangbros2257.com to allow webmasters to download and store encrypted records and will provide passwords to unlock files upon request.
Also created Bbohost.com, where webmasters can upload sites using only Bangbros/Oxcash content.

Permanently shut down.
DatingGold.com
Releasing all new, softcore hosted banners, galleries, geo-targeted ads and promotional materials.
Will phase in hardcore materials as documentation becomes available.
Requiring webmasters to use only hosted material or contact the company for documentation on downloaded content.
Duke Dollars
Offering model IDs for sexually explicit content to responsible affiliates.
Will require all new and some existing affiliates to prove legitimacy.
HostedContent.com/AdltContent.com
Providing downloadable documentation for AdltContent.com only for webmasters with legitimate licenses.
NakedSword
Created a searchable database cross-referenced by model name, alias and stage name, birth date and production date.
Will issue banners only with softcore images.
On June 23, will launch a fully compliant site, NakedSword.com 3.0, which will include only content for which records are on file.
Nastydollars
Audited all content for records and IDs and asked webmasters to only use content available in the Nastydollars content area as of June 23.
Will provide records in 256-bit AES encrypted format and provide encryption keys upon request.
Increasing the number of free hosted galleries it produces weekly.
Created NDFreehost.com so that webmasters can upload galleries using Nastydollars content.
Panchodog
Offering movies, galleries and other hosted material with 2257 links at the bottom of each page.
Will not provide affiliates with model IDs.
PerfectoDollars
Recommends affiliates use only nonexplicit promotional materials, including PerfectoDollars free hosted galleries.
Shooting new softcore content for active affiliates.
PornMonkeyCash
Will no longer provide or allow the usage of sexually explicit content for download or promotional purposes nor provide affiliates with model IDs.

Will no longer issue hardcore content to affiliates nor include hardcore imagery on banners or ads.

Will claim ownership of all pages uploaded to its servers so that any site using its free hosting service will be considered owned and operated by Wildcash, an Australian company not subject to 2257 searches.
Offering free domains to companies wishing to take advantage of this service.

Estimates it has collected, scanned and filed documents for more than 60 percent of its content.
Has asked webmasters to email requests for 2257 documents using the subject line: 2257 request for (company name).
