SiN2.0 Podcast Discusses Domains with Moniker.com

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — SiN2.0 (Sex Information Network), a social media resource for the adult industry and its patrons, will release the second part of a podcast interview featuring Victor Pitts, vice president of sales and client services for Moniker, Inc.

Moniker has brokered domain sales of more than $20 million in adult-themed domains, such as FreePorn.com, and is well considered to be the foremost expert on domain valuation and resale. The two podcasts cover elements of domain ownership, asset development, and resale valuation with a focus on topics that are specific to the adult industry.

The approximately hour-long interview was divided into two podcast episodes: the first episode largely covers the best practices for safely buying developed domains and the second episode will focus on how to sell one's own websites while maximizing profit. The podcast is available in streaming or downloadable format, and registered users at SiN2.0 are encouraged to comment and discuss the podcast here.

“Domain names represent a finite resource, and are the equivalent to brokering Internet real estate," said Jason B. Hart, producer and host of the podcast. “There is serious potential for profit — but only if you know what you’re doing.”

The podcasts are the latest in an ongoing series of interviews with adult industry leaders, movers, and shakers, which seek to provide a valuable informational resource for the online adult entertainment industry. Previous podcasts have covered contemporary use of thumbnail gallery posts, profiting from tube sites, marketing to gay consumers, and 2257 compliance.

The SiN2.0 Adult Webmaster Podcast is located at SiN20.com/podcast.
